Mary has undoubtedly covered and spread every pool player from every era on facebook.

Her collection of photos of past and present players has been nothing short of phenomenal!!! Kudos to her for promoting pool and including all faces and not just those we know as the “knowns”

It’s people like her that preserve and promote pool to keep it alive and well with the players of yesteryear and the players we love today.

Mary…. Keep up what you are doing and if you haven’t subscribed to her Facebook please do…. There is a ton of great content and history in her post!!

God bless you Mary 😃

Mary is one of my favorite people on the planet! Has a ton of knowledge on the game and is a complete sweetheart! Here is a pic of me, Mary and Colonel Bille Miller a few years ago playing at Bille's house.

Mary is wonderful. She is also very responsive and will give advice via fb message or email. I recently got an autographed cueball from her. Her match commentary and road stories bring so much to the sport. Here is a great match with mary and jimmy mataya doing commentary. Give it a watch. I promise you will be laughing.

I wish Mataya would do more commentating. I enjoy the humor and keeping it light. Some current talking heads wear me smooth out. This match is very funny to watch/hear.

Mary had a excellent pool room in Las Vegas call CueTopia. For the General Public she had about 12 Gandys and for the Players 4-5 Gold Crown 3 Tables and some video poker machines as well.. Used to play there in most of 1990. Glad to read that she is doing well and wish her the best.

Too bad she is doing her work on Facebook as the pictures and posts will be stuck in their walled garden and not searchable or generally available. The historic record will disappear unless others collect the data and put it somewhere else.

Mary kenniston got her "nightmare" nickname from gerda hoffstatter (now gregerson) Way back at an old tournament, when the ladies were in the elevator going floor to floor back to their rooms for the night. One by one, they left the elevator. "Goodnight loreejon". "Night Ewa", and then, "Night mar" (mary). Gerda then said......nightmare! That's you! It was the perfect name for mary, as she is very much a night person. Anyone that had to face mary for a late night match had a hard time beating her, as mary was wide awake, and her opponent was often tired.

Yes. I'd love Mary to proof-read her articles though. There was a number of occasions when the facts were wrong. I concur with the volume of writing she produces that is going to be not so easy, but I vote for better 🙂

Vahmurka, I do proofread my articles although sometimes things slip by. However, proofreading doesn't pick up "when the facts are wrong." Instead of commenting here on AZBilliards, how about sending me a PM on FB or email me at marydk88@yahoo.com when you think the facts are wrong. I strive for accuracy so welcome your input.

As far as this comment is concerned, I looked into creating a searchable website & the cost was not something I am able to incur. If there are any pool enthusiasts out there that would be willing to help me create a website pro bono, I'd love to hear from you!

Mary

Good point. Not everybody wants to undergo the faceplant anal exam. (edit) Just read Mary's post. I can't offer a solution, so hope somebody here has one.
