Me playing

Thanks guys Im gonna head to the pool room with my new toy and try and get a 100 ball run in straight pool on the easy 8ft tables sometime this week.

lighting

Your overhead light is causing under exposure of the rest of the frame. The light fools your meter into believing that there is an overexposure and shuts the lens down when there is exactly the opposite. Position the camera so that the overhead light is not in the frame . You can see that most (all?) streamed pool games are shot from slightly above the table so that the light that enters the camera is only that which is reflected from the table.

Congratulations on a great gift. I got clothes.:( Good luck on your attempt at the century mark. Make sure you post the video.:)

'Nobody' becaue the majority of us would be too embaressed to post a video of our games. It takes real guts to do so on this message board, IMO. Great shooting, and way to put yourself out there.

"Thats how you become great man....put your balls out there."

Good shooting dude. Would come out way better and I think you would get more out of it with the camera being set up a bit higher. Good stuff.

Hmm. First, let me say the cenimatography was superb and lighting was excellent. It conveyed just the right ambience for the subject matter. Costuming was equally spectacular, although hair and make-up was somewhat lacking for a production of this magnatude.
I also found the script to be a tad light in some areas (character development in particular), but agree with my colleagues that a complete rewrite probably isn't necessary at this time. Well done.

Nice table and run out...Is that a basement or garage, works great whatever, no poles or walls to get in the way...Tom

Its a old building that we use for storage. I also happen to have a pool table in there lol. The cloth is 860 simonis its pretty wore down its time to replace it soon.
