Does anyone find that when using english, when using Moori M that you have a higher amount of miscues?

Hmm, I havnt noticed any mic cues with english just a litte mushrooming thats about with with my moori meds.

i know mushrooming is the problem with the medium moori but i don't know about miscueing..i am using hard moori right now and i think it grips real good.are you sure it's the tip or just the chalk you are using?

or try a Wizard medium they play very close to the older Moori's..

Im wondering if you got the counterfit moori's that are still out there.

Hey whats up buddy, Do they have Kamui hards ? and do they hold chalk pretty well ? I always been a hard tip person

Tips

To answer the poster above me's question yes they do have a kamui hard. On the other ? I am playing with a morri med right now and I am honestly not very happy with it. I think I am going to go back to a kamui or wizard. My tip is only about 2 weeks old so I will wait a while and see how it goes. Might try cutting it down a bit its kinda tall.

Yep, moori medium does miscue a lot comparing to kamui, I'm using kamui medium-soft now, it's harder than moori med.

Yep!

The newer moori's are a mere shadow of what was once one of the premier tips available. After swearing by them for years the combined mushroom/miscue problems overcame my objections to trying a new tip. I am now using Muellers Dudley Tips. They are made from elkmaster milk duds and are working just fine for me. No mushroom issues and just about zero miscues. When I compared the price of them to the layered tips and there performance also it is something I wish I had done long ago.

I switched back to pressed triangles about 6 months ago. I got sick of the miscueing. Triangles are the same every time.

I had the same problem as well a few years back. I ended up switching to Talisman Mediums and liked them, so stuck with those since.

I have heard alot of good about Kamui as well.

Most of the time it is not the tip that is the problem it is the stroke. imo

It took 14 posts for that to come out.........wow.....

In my experience, the better the stroke the harder tip you can use......a weaker stroke, the softer tip is more forgiving.

I did switch to Kamui, never got one to mushroom.

While I am sure there is some truth to this statement, I have not changed my stroke in years and since I have stopped using moori tips miscuing is a rarity. I am in fact suprised when I do miscue; with moori tips I had miscue's regularly.
JMO, and I know we all have opinions!!!

Just got a new Madden w/2shafts and Moori meds on both. They did miscue when I shot out on the edges. I now 220 the edge before I shoot and thats done the trick. Gonna get my moneys worth before I try anything else though.

I recently just had all my cues re-tipped with moori mediums... and I have noticed when useing a smaller shaft, i.e. my predator z2 shaft, i will miscue from time to time if i try to really juice a ball.... to fix this problem i ruff up the tip a little before the shot though and it seems to solve issue. i have never played with a kamui but due to everyone's rave reviews on them i might throw one on my arnot and give it a go.

well my stroke is great and i've been using moori mediums for years. Recently i've been miscueing like crazy and i've been getting very frustrared with my moori. its hard for me to realize that they're goin to crap because i've been playin with one for so long but it is wat it is. I never miscue and i mean never, but its like im a beginner again. Been hearing some good things about Kamui and im thinkin about making the switch. Glad someone started a thread on this cause its something thats been bothering me for a while.
