At the end of last years WPBA final tournament I posted I thought Anna would be in the top 10 by the end of 2008. I still do. Johnnyt

Bonnie Plowman seems to be pretty steady on the bar box. She isnt too well known on either coast I dont think.

Bonnie and her friend Julie Schultz are pretty decent.

Colorado has both of them along with Melissa Little, Laura Smith, Megan M., and Samm Diep that play around here on a regular basis. Some other good women shots in the area that I'm not naming. Maybe even my wife if she would have stuck with it.

For my money, Allison Fisher, is not only the best now, but maybe the best ever. How many different people on the women's tour finish in the top 3? Maybe 5 different ones, and the top 1,2 are Allison or Karen most of the time.

Women have no parrity like the men do, the top few are so far ahead of the rest they all are just playing for second place. Men at least you can count on a new champion almost every time.

I wonder who will be the next gen. woman players?

How will M. Lac and Iris R. do in FL?

Esther Yi didn't do well in Viejas but could improve - if qualified.

Good luck to all.

Yu Ram Cha is a strong player! It would not be out of line to consider her among the top female players. Her stroke is world class!!!

Stan Shuffett
Apparently not many people have seen this young lady play, or her name would be mentioned here more. Yu Ram certainly has the game to break into that top rung of tour players.

Good genes

Pro - Allison Fisher has been dominate for so long. Pan and Oachan are up and coming.

Amatuer - Michelle Rakin, when she finishes college she will show the world just how talented she is.

All Time - Jean Balukas, it is just a shame she did not continue playing longer than she did.

Ya know, Michelle has a younger sister named Mary that is also quite the monster! And they are both extremely nice... unless you happen to be playing against them. :D

Two others that I would have to list is Eleanor Callado (San Francisco Bay Area) and Sueyen Rhee (DC Metro area). Both have a silky smooth stroke and confident stroke.

And have to agree with you with my all time favorite.. Queen Jean Balukas. Hands down.

Wow, good to know at least one man can look past her (o)(o)...

Oh, I'm gonna get it for this comment...:p

It's not just that her (0)()('s are too big. I'm sick of all the hype of how good she is. If she was that good she'd be playing on the WPBA Tour. Johnnyt

Hey, I can look past em, but why would I want to????

Johnnyt,

I don't think anyone else has said she plays good...she's done well in Korea events, but not much buzz in US.

Maybe, she'll qualify for WPBA soon, then we will see...

She does have beautiful eyes, you're correct, but she isn't quite there yet. And how about that Sunnyday... 2008 Womens Player Member National CHAMP! Watch out for her ladies.

Ga Young will be in NY next month I think. I will back her against any women you bring on my own table which she played me on at Skyline a year or so ago. Pang will be here also but she dont gamble. Maybe I get a exhibition going.

Why stop short?
