Hey guys,

Three days ago I saw a new line of Moori tips at Atlas' website. Thwey look similar to the previous version but the boxes are different in design. I check up with Moori official website and did not find those new boxes. It looks to me an imitation from China but I really dont think Atlas will do knockoffs. Does anyone have an idea about these tips?

Moori

Moori has changed packaging over the years,,, dealers may/may not not show the current packaging

Moori's just aren't what they used to be. I started looking for an alternative a while ago. The ki-techs are great but I've found that the ultraskins are very close to morri's. I have a medium on one cue and the PRO on the other. The PRO is the softest tip they offer and I typically don't like the feel of a soft tip. But this one isn't squishy like other softs I've tried. At the prices offered, you can try both the ki-tech and ultraskin tips.

Atlas has always been place that sold real products, know copies, or counterfits. So I would not be Leary of dealing with atlas.

It does not matter what you use, just buy American. I am sold on Ki-Tech they are made in the U.S.A.

moori fakes

One distributor says the new moori 4 is 8 layers and those are the real ones, but another distributor says the real ones are 9 layers, who right.

Moori

I have a few boxes of the real thing.
Softs .Medium and Hard.

Friend of mr.Moori gets me a few every 6 months.
Moori still is a one-man production, last time I've heard. He presses one at a time. That's why it's hard to get them in large amounts

They 've always looked the same to me. Box, packing, etc.

I'm happy to be able to get the real thing once in a while.

Please PM me if you want some. I'm in position to guarantee it is the real deal.

So I would not be Leary of dealing with atlas.

Me neither, great company.

But, I would venture a wild guess and say that you have had pretty much zero experience dealing with them at any point in your life as they are mainly dealing with Builders and Repair men.

Leary. Would that be Timothy Leary, or Timothy Leery.

Ahhhhh.....Mooris....the "golden fleece of cue tips".

Not been as impressed with the quality since the Moori III's. Still a nice tip, but imo not the best anymore.

If you want a tip that's like old Moori, there are the Thomas tips on this website...

They play the same, me and my friends couldn't find differences!

For the Kamui black players we found out the Ultraskin tips from Tom Hay are unbelievable. All clubmates I gave them to, will not buy the Kamuis any more, cause Tom makes a great product.

Still want to try a single layered Ki-Tech, when my Kamui brown is down... :D
