*** Mosconi Cup 2015 Updates Thread ***

goddamn, I can't stand it anymore. Every time Nick makes a safety or gets lucky and rolls behind a single ball it's "great shot by Nick there, or he hit that real good", but if Corey gets safe or lucks behind a ball then it's "very fortunate by Corey there, or he hit that bad and got real lucky". Unreal

Lol at these commentators "DON'T BREAK THEM UP, DONT BREAK THEM UP!!!!"
Bias much? aaahaha

Indeed, the commentators are all over the place...pure comedians.

Will NVB succeed to the impossible task to lose to a player like Deuel??? lol

Geez...

USA 1-5 Europe Doubles match

Corey 3-2 Nick VDB, at the moment

Happy??

Eric

Thank you, Eric! :)

So they have only played two sets so far today. That is what I was trying to find out.

I wish there was one place to find out the scores besides this forum and Facebook.

I can go to Phil Capelle's FB page, and he has been updating everything in a real-time manner, if anybody else needs immediate gratification like me. :o:wink::):grin-square:

Nick Van den Berg would get his ass handed to him in a 9-ball gambling match against Corey. Are you on crack? Moron.

Corey jumps 5 ball in and the crowd goes crazy, Shane doesn't even blink lol.

6 ball hanging in the corner. Corey studying the table. Banks the 3 and his missed it.

Watch out! Corey got a lucky roll. Thank you, Santa. Keeps Corey at the table.

Pool gods have been shinng on Corey Duel this match, and he snookered himself. He blew it.

Corey goes for the jump cue, a really long jump shot. He makes it! Wow! Crowd goes nuts! When he needs it, he pulls it out. Shot of the week for Corey Deuel.

Pockets the duck 6 ball and perfect on the 8-rock. This looks like the Corey Deuel we know. Easy Mickey Mouse run out for the lead, 8 goes in, and then the 9.

Corey 4, Nick 3.

Turning the sound off. Can't stand the commentating.

Anybody hear Jays comment about the big guy taking up two seats? Pretty sure that guy was Skys stake horse... Too much ignorance here.

Corey is so lucky. Guy has a hanger out and $hits the 3 ball in three rails. Guy should be ashamed of himself. :grin-square:

For the guys at work:

Corey switches sides to break from. 1 ball down and open table.

Attempts long rail bank on 3 ball, misses but slops it in.

Corey hooks his self on the 5 ball behind the 9 ball. Jumps and makes it.

Runs out. 4-2 Corey

Yep, this is set two of five, so far.

Captain Mark Wilson comes over to Corey and gives him words of praise and congratulations on that good play, while massaging his shoulder.

Nick has not enjoyed a victory yet, either in singles or doubles, in the Cup this year.

All-important break shot for Nick. Breaking from the left, all because of the 1-ball's ability to squirt in the side pocket. 6-ball goes in the corner. He's got a shot on the 1, and everything is out on the open. The key here is getting from the 1-ball to the 2.

Lot-a-green shot on the 1, and he makes it, but he has a bad leave on the 2. Nick may have to go for a safety. There's no bank available. Plays a safety on the 2. Corey will have to kick at the 2.

Corey gets his jump cue. This is a tough jump. That ball can go right off the table. He better hit it solid. Off the table with the cue-ball. Ball in hand to Nick.
