That line Hatch drew from the 7 to the 8 was a tightrope. I knew before he shot the 7 that he was playing it very close, and just a touch too far with the cueball would spell disaster. He didn't need to play the cueball line that close to being hooked behind the 9.
Why didn't just use his jump cue... he has been jumping like God!!!!???? :scratchhead:
Given how people are jumping this tournament so far hopping over the edge of the 9 was not a tough thing either. IMO hopping over the edge of the 9 with a slightly elevated cue was the shot for most people to have the best odds.
Dennis looked terrified that whole match long.
Too far away, and if he connected, he might have flown off the table anyway.
I'm guessing that it was too far of a jump, too close to the edge of the table. Decent chance of a ball going off the table. Too bad he hit the semi-masse shot too hard because it looked like there was a decent shot of making that ball but the spin never got to take.
The graphic on TV says race to 5. I'm guessing they misspoke.
The feeds have been so random for such a major event. BTW, the full screen quality on veetle is not as good as fromsport today.
Plus for some strange reason it's one shot behind the fromsports feed.

Europe couldn't win if USA wasn't dumping hatch knew the 8 ball was the miss ball and shane/corey just didn't even try. Most pathetic Mosconi Cup i have ever seen!!!!!!
