+1 on both Paul and Doug. I owned a Doug Patrick cue and it was well made and I got compliments wherever I took it. I currently own a cue made by Paul and it is also well made. I received compliments on it as well. They both are great guys to deal with.
ThanksI wouldn't consider myself underrated, though. I have gotten due exposure. I think there are lots of "under the radar" builders who do great work & deserve the recognition. But for some reason, the market as a whole chooses who is who & it's not always determined by quality.
Bernie Mikkelson- Mikkelson cues. Not underrated up in Canada.
I hear you talking!!!!!!!!!!
post up some pictures. i've never heard of him before
I seldom look on the main forum but just stick to the cue makers section but I just noticed this thread and would like to take the time to thank those who have spoken so highly of my cues. Thank you.
Dick
I will put Jack Madden with any high end cuemaker in the country. Workmanship is next to none. Besides that he is my friend!
What cuemaker do you feel is flying under the radar? As far as quality, fit, finish, point work, price, etc. Which cuemaker gives you the best bang for your buck so to speak. Lets see what people come up with. Thanks for your input.

Yes, he did make a hell of a cue. But, not really under the radar.
