Here are three Paul Motteys. In the back is the "Wild Bill cue" which still appears in Pauls website. The scrim work is just beautifull as is the rest of the cue.

The middle cue is the one Paul made for me and delivered at VF last year. It is quite incredible and the workmanship and design is flawless

Front one is a cue I have had for about 6-7 years, and still love the simplistic design. This is one of those cues that a pic just doesnt do it any justice..............

This is why Paul is my absolute favorite cuemaker. James White being second. Very nice cues. I love seeing your new posts with all of your beautiful collection.

Awesome

Steve

A real nice trio of cues. Some of the best out there that's for sure. Thanks for posting the great pictures of these cues.

My favourite cuemaker of all time....awesome awesome set of cues Steve...and thanks for sharing...love the 8 points screamsaw...

hey

Thanks for the kind words. So glad you guys love looking at cues as much as I do. I have always been a huge fan of Pauls work.

I guess this is a huge thing to declare but in my opinion these three are the NICEST, best looking works of Paul - ever. The scrimshaw cue is the NUTS at such a different level it is not worth it to say any more words about it, the big ivory butt cap cue is a very nicely flowing design and the other, 16 point cue (correct?) is just simply amazing...

I think my favourite is the scrimshaw one - did Salman Rashidi do that as well? I find it being the nicest Mottey so far, as the forearm is kept simple compared to what you get from the butt sleeve - I totally admire complete scrimshaw cues but most often they turn out a bit too much to me. This one, however has everything you want construction-wise, and you get the art from where it belonged according to Gus and Balabushka: the butt sleeve.
Absolutely fantastic.

David, yes, the scrimshaw was done by Rashidi. The bottom cue is just captivating when you see it in person. The other two are fabulous as you can see by the pics, but the third one pics just dont do it justice

Like always, your cues are amazing, Steve :bow-down::bow-down:
You posted the middle one in another thread alone, and i realy love that cue.
I think "troro" from "on the hill cuesales" had the same one, a little sooner then you
Or let´s say nearly the same - i think only the wood was the difference, and i fall in love with it immediatly.
But for sure the other TWO are awesome, too.
A perfect Mottey "Threesome", congrats.

Steve, I had to post in this thread since my avatar matches one of your fine cues.
