I fully agree with you. New members are not so scary they have an unknown history that makes them so. On the otherhand the seasoned player knows the rules and loves and is prepared to defend them and is prepared to attempt to enforce them thereby requiring additional time constraints on everyone in the office. And we all know that time is money! In response to your other thread. Not so much as a how do you do, which goes along with my written statement no one was ever bothered in any way what so ever during or before the petitioning unless you are calling my postings on the bulletin board as distractions, I'm not responsible for the players actions or time.

Knowing Mark Griffin as well as I do, I hope you're not holding your breath waiting for a response from him here on AZ
As a private business owner...in which he is of the BCAPL....he don't have to...or need to respond to this kind of attention....and a petition to a privately owned business....though it may make you feel like you have some sort of power with the results of it....mean nothing...if the owner is not interested in your proposed changes....and therefore is NOT required to take action in your favor. The best thing you can do...as it's been sugested....is to find another league to play in...and be happy playing there. Glen

I suppose you're right as far as you go, but become aware that the laws of this country make fraud a crime punishable by fine or prison time and those laws do apply here and perhaps they should be on trial for false advertising, fraud and violation of an implied contract.

The next nearest league is 60 miles and a ferry ride away. And yes it is and would be appreciated if my business was outside the legal requirements. You can encourage Mark to do anything that you wish but read the rules on his Web-Site first and see if they describe his business as you understand it, remember that you are trying to make a decision about wheather or not you wish to spend or waste you time doing as the Web-Site describes.

Thanks for your permission. And yes, I continue to recommend that Mark stay out of this thread as there is no need for him to respond to you and your big bag of crazy. This forum is full of knowledgeable and extremely intelligent individuals, many posting in this thread saying you're wrong. Now i'm a stubborn SOB, but if that many smart and respected people told me i'm wrong, I'd like to think I'd listen to them. I mean come on, who gets tossed out of pool league? That should tell you something about yourself. If someone came up to me with a petition about a rule in POOL LEAGUE, i'd have to look at you like your nuts for choosing this as the "cause" to get your panties in a bunch about. Its his business and they chose to no longer serve you as a customer, end of story.
