Mustang Pool Table!

That's awesome 2 of my favorite things rolled into 1

Is that the mustang 14.1 ?????

Good find

I gotta have that table!!

I'm a big fan of the Ford Mustang. In fact, I own three of them.

Only problem I see is, where do you put the mechanical bridge? On the front bumper?

Mr Einstien,

Well if you buy the table, Nicol says we will be happy to store it for you. Guess you will have to come down to the OC more often.

Have fun at the Mosconi this week

I don't like it! I have four vintage mustangs, but sometimes the best of both worlds just don't mix!

I think I'll stick with my Olhausen.

Interesting idea though. For a bar table, they could use a Yugo and for snooker, they could use a Ford F-350 truck.

Interesting:grin: Would you be willing to post some pictures of them? Perhaps here or in the NPR section?

Larry,

I had a 65 2+2 back in 1970. A friend had one with the very nice pony car interior I think it was called. However what had me with the hot running wants was that one of my customers bought a running GT350 for $125! It was ratted out and rusted out pretty badly, smoked like a freight train too, but I tried to buy it off of him a dozen times starting low and eventually offering far more than he paid for it. Just one of many sad stories of the ones that got away.

Bought my 1st ever Mustang back in May...an '09 Bullitt model. It's a fun driver...

But that red GT350...wow! Especially if it's a real Shelby car...

The table has a raging cool factor, but I suspect it plays dastardly poor.

DQ; money, time, what are these strange things you speak of.

Hu; I have many stories of the ones that got away to. It is nice to have trapped afew too!

PDW; I like the 09 Bullitts. Got to drive one about a year ago. Yes the Shelby is real #2015.

Thanks for the comments! Larry

Gone again but long ago I traded a '57 Studebaker circle track car and trailer I had $400 total in for a '63 Corvette Stingray convertible with 365 horse 327, hard top, and all matching numbers. Body was a little rough and the motor was weak but I drove it home.

My '67 Stingray convertible was my daily driver and I had added a little go to it. Nothing ridiculous but it would run a little bit. I had a business on a four lane and put it out front with a for sale sign one day. A man came by in a nice suit and wanted to test drive it so I went for a ride with him driving. the vette stumbled just a little bit pulling out into traffic and he commented it needed a tune up. No comment from me, it was tuned every week or two. When he tried to shift into third gear he couldn't find it. I told him he had found third gear just fine, he took off in it!

My 2+2 was my first hot rod and being young and dumb I got a bit carried away. I never got beat on the street with it and that was in the early seventies when hot cars were everywhere. I never encountered a certain black Ford Galaxie though, it had the banned SOHC 427 Nascar engine in it, 735 real horsepower straight from Ford. I found another 427 SOHC engine still in the crate at a mechanic shop in a nearby town. I offered enough for it for the guy to go buy a new car, no dice.

Quick edit after reading about your gold mustang. I owned a 428SCJ too, in an all original '69 Torino. 150 made, I flipped mine for a city block or two when I rolled a tire off a rim one night. Three left the last I heard twenty years or so ago and the value then made me want to puke.

Completely off subject...lol

I was never a Mustang fan....but upon returning from viet nam in 1970 I bought a brand new hurst model 442 olds.....I won't say I'd beat the 427....but with the 4/11 chunk.....I'd be willing to take a half car spot in the 1/8th
