my girlfriend even didnt take a look at it

sometimes woman just DONT understand what its all about...
Mine gets mad everytime I get a new cue, so I have to buy her something. Last time I told her I would give her a Schmelke, she said "I'll never play with a Schmelke"
If you don't mind me asking, where did you find this cue. George Washington probably used it for a house cue.[/QUOTE]
i found the cue on the french ebay. i surf alot of 2hand national websites and forums. i was surprised exept me there was only one other bidder on this cue. i payed a ridicolous price. 1/10th of whats it worth.
i hit some balls with the cue yesterday, and even with the 15mm tip and shaft its LIGHT, VERY light. usually cues are around 450gr, this one weights close to 360gr. and its balance is amazing. but then again i like forward balanced cues, and with the tin butt and thick shaft it feels like air in my hands.
about the tip, i dont know. one thing is for sure, this tip is VERY VERY old. in fact it has 2 tips.. some kind of leather pad, and then a leather tip over it. maybe i am wrong about it, but i hope that when the person who will authentificate it, i'll know more about the cue.
I wanted it as a centerpiece of my private collection, but i never planned on having such an expensive cue... but if i sell it, i'll regret it forever. So I cross my fingers, i'll never need to sell it.
