really nice man. the case i mean, not your gf

Hey.....there ain't nuthin wrong with his gf!:D
The case is really nice. When you make the new improved one are you donating that one to the gf? They seem to kind of go together.

Looks great!!!, can I get some prices for a 2x4. Also can you construct one without the leather being pinched together on the end like it is, and a single strap? Thanks

I am not a fan of the pinched side either, but overall a very nice first effort Phillip!

Phillip, Great job, and it your design. Welcome to the world of leatherworking. The truth all your cases in the future will show the revolving and improvement from the last. Your gf did a great job modeling.

But you must add one thing to this case!!! You put your signature and 001 - but add the date - if not the year. Or did I miss it in the picture

When you start, if not already your other case, assembly or cut extra tubes, tube sleeves, leather patterns that you know you will use in the future and are 100% satisfied with.

Again Great job. The true test is when people ask you in the pool hall, who made the case. And your answer I did!!!!!!!!!! Wonderful feeling.

Congrats on your first case, it looks great. I'd always keep it so you can look back and see your improvments over time.

Cool looking case Philip, One piece of constructive criticism I have is that almost everyone I know like a lid that attaches to the case rather than one that totally removes. Nice effort and keep it up. Oh and Also, your girl friend is cute and she moldels cases well.

Nice!!!!

Very Nice man. Both on the GF and and the case......man I wish I could find a decent girl around here who even knows WTF TAR is lol!!!!!

Thanks everyone for your comments! The part that billiard shot circles is my last name, the way i signed my name is a combination of my firstname and the last upside down (either way you turn it you can read my name) I just marked a number because i have a log of each case and when it will be made with color combination and such.

Now about the justis style or instroke style with out the rivets going all the way down, i CAN do. I know most people believe its much tougher to build but honestly it isnt.

i kinda wanted to make it a bit different so im still drawing up designs for a enclosed case that isnt exactly the same with two rows of rivets. Also if you see it in person the nice burnished BLACK edge going down the whol case gives it major attention.

Now on the color, i actually brushed it like that, i want to experiment with textures because i dont find to many cases with a textured dye to it. the pocket came out really nice and to be honest im running dead low on money so i ran out of dye on the body of the case.

With the lid, that is also something else i am experimenting with. i have another design to make it closed and attached but not sure yet i believe i will give the option.

As for price I want to make sure it is super sturdy, and i will start it off at around Chaz's price to make it even and fair. also im going to start doing pattern tooling and as a bonus if you want (obviously for extra money) i can have your name LASER ENGRAVED just like jacks cases that were made for Bustamante and Efren to give it a real classy look

Please more comments on what you like and didnt like

Sweeeeeet!

I dig the case and the girlfriend! My compliments to you on both! Well done sir!  Double thumbsup for sure! Can't wait to see more of your work in the future!

1) Good job on your first case.

2) Good job on picking a pretty girlfriend with great taste in shirts, and obviously supports your endeavour!
