First post here, just thought I'd show off the pool cue case that I made.
As I'm about to have regular access to a pool table, (currently helping my dad restore one for my brother in law) I thought it appropriate to get my own cue. As I don't have much money atm, buying a case was out of the question, so I made my own.
It's made from a scrap piece of cherry plywood tubing, 3" OD, and is covered in naugahyde. The straps for securing the cap are made from leather.
Here it is:
Interior is completely covered in that white padding. (I think it's sound proofing material)
Small storage compartment in the cap, big enough for a small tip pick, scuffer, and chalk:
