My new pool movie is climbing the charts on Youtube.

the shooter has MAD skills - the production team has MAD skills - I'd love to see what MAD skills the model has!!!

;) great looking vid!!!

Same opinion as everyone else here, I don't like trick shots but this is awesome! Very creative and talented!

A Quantum Leap!

No one could ever be prepared for these types of shots! Add in the production quality and it is beyond description. This is so much beyond verbal description that it MUST be watched to see billiard balls in motions never contemplated.

Well, I hate trick shots! You see them on TV setting up shots and then yelling and waving cue after it goes. A monkey could do it if they knew how to setup the shots...

This, I wouldn't call trick shot at all!!! I don't see any trick here just a shit load of skill and talent. Call this - Skill Shot, Zen Shot, Master shot or something other than trick shots.

They say you see or learn something new in this game every day -- and I did wake up this morning!!!!!!!

Some of the best "skill and talent" I have ever seen. Look out Dr Cue and World Chamionships!!!!

Paul, I'm not Venom. I'm just the guy who filmed and edited the video.

I can answer a few of these questions for you though, as Florian (Venom) is a friend of mine.

Venom has about 10 cues. Masse cues, jump cues, playing cues, and jump masse cues. Each cue has a different purpose, and different characteristics. For instance, the masse cues are super heavy (30oz) and have a short kevlar and carbon fiber shaft. They have MASSIVE deflection. Venoms playing cue however is almost the same as the one Mika uses. Its a sort of hybrid shaft, somewhere between a LD shaft and a traditional shaft. It's made by Mezz cues.

The same applies with the tips. Some of his cues have hard tips, others have soft tips. It depends on the type of shot hes doing.

As for pool school, Florian (Venom) is currently training with the 1996 World Champion 3 cushion player in France. He has an event against Sayginer next month that he needs to prepare for. He has zero training previous to this though, as he just learned how to play in his attic over the past 2 years. lol

I wont answer the rest of the questions, as I can't speak on behalf of Venom for them. I just answered these few as I knew what he'd say. :)

PS. Thanks for the positive feedback. :)

Now that is an incredible feat indeed!

lol, This is a pretty awesome comment. Thanks for that.

I've showed Florian (venom) this thread. He wanted me to thank everyone for their support and amazing feedback.

It'll do better than the Barretta movie. Come to think of it, it probably already has.

The quality of the video looks amazing! Very impressed with the shots too..

Some good news. A few good things have resulted from the release of this trailer.

1) Venom has been signed on by Mezz Cues. He is now an official representative of Mezz. The choice was an obvious one as Venom already uses Mezz jump cues for all his airborn shots.

2) Venom has been invited by Dragon Promotions to compete with Sameh Sayginer later this month at a televised event in Korea.

3) Venom has been invited to the 2009 Dr. Cue Signature Artistic Cup III event, which also takes place later this month.

It looks like Venom's time has arrived. I wish him the best of luck.

Very cool production... I've seen Venom on youtube before, I guess maybe you produced those as well? Amazing talent and fun to watch...

I really like the choice of music accompanying these videos too, adds a nice touch of suspense...

Good luck with the vid!
