My New Table - Thanks Ernesto and Jay

Bought Jay's Brunswick Gibson and rack - a great deal, thanks Jay! He also comped
me a set of like-new Brunswick Centennial balls and a triangle rack.

Whew, what a day, a 14 hour marathon of L.A. Traffic, breaking down and installing
the Brunswick and breaking down my old Olhausen. Ernesto had already tricked out
the Brunswick with german rubber and 4" pockets.

Ernesto is a perfectionist. He even drilled more holes in the slate to get a perfect level.
Leveling the table alone took several hours. We finished up at about midnight last night -
of course we had to get in a few games once the table was done.

It's a beauty - Mahogany, and an awesome playing table. The pockets are tight but
fair - the shots drop if you hit within the points, no matter how hard.

Ernesto can take an average home table and convert it to a players table. I just want
everyone to know how happy I am!

Looking good! Don't forget to invite your fellow AZ'ers to your next pool party!

Btw, Ernesto and Jay are quite a pair to draw to.

This is like the 4th comment about the wallpaper. It was all the rage in 1992! Oh well, back to the home decor store I guess.

How about that Trojan football helmet though?

LOL - it really isn't that bad, kind of classy looking with it all. but i thought there was something not fitting in and.. now that you mention it, that must be it! it's the helmet! i'd keep the glue and the plastic bag but the helmet got to go ;)

Balls

Great looking, wish you had those new balls on the table when you took the pic. I'm still going to use it as my background.

Looks good Chris!!!!!

Ernesto was going to set up my table next week, but I went to pick up the parts at the painters shop this AM and they weren't ready. Now I need to wait until after the US Open.

Enjoy that beautiful table!!!

Russ........

What a beautiful table. It must play like a dream.
And yes, Ernesto is the best. He does my table also. Ditto on whats been said about the wallpaper.

Enjoy it, Chris.

I think I just drooled on myself. You lucky dog. That's a beauty. And you got a steal on it no less. Congrats.

Chris,
Beautiful table and room. Paint the walls ox-blood red. I think that would look great against that wood.
