Well,
I gotta say, I had the most wonderful time of my life.
I have never felt so welcomed, accepted and loved by so many.
Meeting each and everyone of you in person was just great..
I felt like I’ve known you for years..
How incredible is that?... I just can’t help but to feel that way..
And all from the love for Cues.:)
Too bad the Whole World don’t love cues like we do…:frown:

Steve Piesner,
Thank You for adopting me for my time at Valley Forge SBE.
I was like part of your family...:)
I felt at so at home with brothers Chris and Brian.
I just wish I had their handsome looks..

I want to Thank everyone for expressing their admiration for my cue caps.
It felt so good inside to hear your compliments.
Please don’t take this the wrong way, ‘cause I’m not trying to be arrogant ,
But, I felt like I was a celebrity...Really!!...:p

My feelings of thanks and sincerity to meeting you all extent to everyone.
That is no lie....Promise..
If I may, I would please, like to take this time out to say,

Thank You to all, that made my Valley Forge SBExpo possible.
At a time when the economy is bad, your unselfish contributions
made a “Dream of a Lifetime” come true..
It’s obvious that without you, I would never have experienced such a life changing event...Thank You...
You know who you are, so, I chose not to post the list on an open post..

My last day was the hardest. I’m sorry if I missed you and didn’t say good-bye..
Sorry if I sometimes could not hold back my emotions.
The feeling of leaving was overwhelming.
I’d thought I could be stronger.. Guess not..:frown:

Once again , in closing, I would like to

Thank You All
and say it was a pleasure and honor meeting you..
Please excuse me for not posting all your names, as there would be so many..
Family of AZ’ers, cue makers, .... everyone...

There is a little something that I also came home with.
Not only the fact that I've meet and felt the love of so
many beautiful people..
It's a little feeling of comfort, that the world can see,
"That there's more to a cue cap, than just a simple joint protector.."

Alton

To put a smile back on your face, remember to send me the Cue Caps and allow me to judge what they are worth.
The worries you may have of not liking them may be justified - I ALWAYS LOVE YOUR WORK!

We have at least one more road to travel on a cue cap.
It will be simple but to match a set already by one of the famous cue makers.

I really enjoyed meeting you and look forward to a time when we may see each other again.
Please take the picture of yourself holding the Manzino and frame it.
It turned out great!

Myron

Alton, Myron, i really enjoyed meeting both of you at the show. Myron, keep up the good work. Alton, I love all of your nice cues. The very best to all, Bob C.

Alton,
It was great to see you again. Thanks for making the trip.

See you at H.B.'s in September.

Alton,

It was truly an HONOR to meet you in person...and so refreshing to affirm something I had already suspected/known from seeing your work....you REALLY have a passion for cues and what you do to make those fantastic caps !! I truly enjoyed our great conversation and getting some time to walk around and chat with you at the show and looking forward to the next time. If there is anything we can do, don't hesitate to call or email.

Best,
Sean

Alton I was looking for this post to see how your trip went ... It warms my heart that you had such a great time got to meet alot of good people and enjoyed yourself. I had hoped to get up there this year with Sly but things took a turn for the worst here ... Not to bad but bad enough to keep pme from going. As you said the economy is terrible right now and it is tough when you work at a place for over 20 years only go through three layoffs and then go out on the fourth one ... But that is not all bad I have alot more time to play pool these days and definatly enjoying sometime off and unemployment is not bad at all here in Georgia who would of though that is this poor state... So for now I am sharpening up my game and hoping soon to get up to see Sly and Kenny and Bob CO...

I have thought about you often over this past weekend and had hoped that you really had a great time ... I hardly know you but you sent me some free cue caps and that was very kind of you ... Perhaps one day I will get you to make me a set for my player. As I said it warms my heart to see you enjoy yourself ... My Mother always told me there is nothing wrong with a man who sheds tears at special moments in his life or at very sad times in his life ... The one man to warey of is the man who sheds no tears feels no remorse and is afraid to show any emotion in good or bad times ... I wish I would of got to meet you I think I would of really enjoyed that ....

Well I'm off to a local pool tourny wish my luck and maybe next year we can meet up at VF if at all possible ... After this year being so certain I would attend then having to back out I am not going to promise anyone I will be there but I hope to...

Leon , Kenny an Bob sorry I did not make it this year ... But I called Leon and told him what happened and that I will make it up there even if it is not for VF and just to visit you guys and play some pool ... And let Leon treat me to that sub shop he keeps telling me about and those Subs he seems to always be eating when it is not some kind of pasta while we talk on the phone ...

I'm really looking forward to reading everyones updates on VF and have enjoyed the ones I have read so far...

hey

Alton, It was rather amazing to see how much you enjoyed meeting everyone and talking to people. I thought the best part was when all the different cuemakers who talked shop and gave you even more insight into how they do some things. It was easy to see that you enjoyed every minute you spent there.

I also would like to thank everyone who helped make this trip possible for Alton, your generosity was staggering. Alton....hope to see you soon buddy

Alton,
it was great meeting you at the show. And although we only spent a short time talking, i could easily see how excited you were to be there, and how happy you were to be surrounded by cues, and "cue guys"

Alton

Hope you had a safe journey home. As everyone has expressed I too was really impressed with your true professionalism and kindness. I look forward to hearing from you and working with you on the caps for the Josswest. Again best wishes and continued success.
