I haven't posted much but I can definately add, i had not mentioned this before the threads started but it needs to be said on kevins behalf...........Just to add,

I saw him 3 weeks at a pool touney near charlotte, a small sunday tournament and he was there( He usually is). he tried to sell me a sneaky pete, he had some story behind it being for someone local who changed their mind LOLOL!:............................................

if anyone would like me to ask him anything pm me and i will ask him when he is around here trying to sell cues that he probably owes others.

If this truly is the case,
This would explain the how for the huge delays some have experienced. The why would be either he: 1) is having dire financial problems, 2) has a vice he is trying to support, or 3) is just an out and out crook.

So glad I caught up on all the KV threads cause I was totally interested in a custom cue that I could pre-pay for and then wait till 2011 to have

Folks as tempting as it may be a negative rep campaign isnt the way to handle this. The rep thing is so out of hand as it is it isnt going to mean a thing. Youre only going to be accused of playing follow the leader.

Besides that his buddies are going to follow right behind and give good reps and offset all the bad ones.

If youve had a good experience say so. If youve had a bad one then say that also. Just make sure you got your ducks in a row and can document everything.

Stevie Wonder could see how he got the number of green reps he has. Obviously it wasnt by providing good customer service to everyone. It was by cutting the little behind the scene deals that a few have already mentioned and blantantly asking for the green.

What really needs to happen is for those that have had the bad experiences to step forward and stop worrying about the reprocussions. Do you really think a red square is going to make a difference in you getting what is owed you?

The system is in place and will work if its not abused. May not be the best system but its the only one you got.

Any cuemaker can do that for you. Some are just better at it than others.

Wow! It was just a short while ago that I read a thread started by another disgruntled Varney customer. This guy couldn't reach Varney despite numerous efforts and avenues of communication. Then a friend of Varney's became an intermediary, claiming Varney's computer was down, or some weak sounding excuse like that. I said to myself that if I had taken other peoples' money and was about a year delinquent in delivery, I'd sure as hell stay in touch - including using my friend's computer, if necessary, and replying to my customer's Emails personally. The next thing I knew, Varney was all over the forums posting like crazy and everything was apparently hunky-dory. It seemed very bizarre to me that he was so readily taken back into the fold after wronging forum members. I'll be curious to see if this thread has a similar ending.

I have not read anything into your previous post, and like I said I do understand what you were trying to say. But I wanted you to understand that I am not talking form a lack of experience, I have also been down many roads. I have walked the walk and at times I want to run, but I put that fear behind me and focused on the only thing important and that was my family and what was best for them.

Now throughout this entire Varney Saga, people have posted Oh Kevin take care of your family, and I agree with this completely. People have said oh Kevin take your time Artist's can't be rushed, :rotflmao1: now that is funny. People have defended his every action, and now it is well maybe he has mental health issues or a drug problem.

My point has been all along that if some one takes advantage of our forum members for any reason they must be stopped from doing so. That has been my intent from the beginning, people need to know what has been going on here so they can make decisions based upon the facts and nothing else. No more forum members need to fall into one of Kevin's traps, where their money is held hostage and they are ignored. This has gone on long enough, and whether he is ill, on drugs or anything else it can go on no longer.

Kevin is the only one who can fix his problems whatever they may be, and anyone supporting his behavior in any form is only enabling him. Kevin needs to step up and do the right thing, you cant respect others until you first respect yourself and obviously Kevin has little if any for himself.


Now we have another member stepping up and talking about Kevin recently selling cues again locally where he lives, I only hope that our members get taken care of, and to me that is the only issue. I can have no sympathy for Kevin until he does what is right, and until then, I will continue to be a rock in shoe!!!!!!!!!!!!

Adjusting his rep to where it should be is exactly what is needed. It is in place to give an idea at a glance of the members standing here. Someone with such a tremendous cloud hanging over their head needs to be rightfully put in their place. I submit a spot near the top of good reputation is misleading to all who might be checking his oil for information on a future deal. By inferring that moving him off the front page would do no good, you are the one abandoning the principles of the reputation factor. Standing idly by and asking others to do the same only helps to perpetuate his preying on the members here.
