in this thread Roadkill claims that he doesn't really know Varney and that he only met him once and it was 5 years ago.in other threads he is quoted as saying "i know Kevin" and "Kevin is a stand up guy" and i am sure others too,but basically he started posting a couple months ago and claimed to know Kevin and know that Kevin has integrity and now he is saying that he doesn't really know him at all,just that they met once 5 years ago at a random pool tournament.

I have read a few of the other threads and what I can't understand is how people can actually believe that "nothing good can come from these threads" or "does not and will not help anything..."
Can we look at the big picture for a minute?
I'm sure there were people that thought the "Boo on Actionhound" thread didn't accomplish anything because Jay never got paid but there is another school of thought that appreciates that no one has been reported of welching on here since then.
It's called a deterrent and I really appreciate being able to know that I can order supplies and gamble with people on here with confidence that they will be honest and give good service so they won't be exposed as the latest Varney or Actionhound.
I did not order a cue but I'm as honest as they come and I loathe dishonesty in business. I do think dishonest business people and gamblers who welch on bets should be banned to protect the innocent.

Some people may say that I am Jealous of Kevin, that I am just a hater, or that for some other reason I have it out for Kevin, but the truth is I am just tired of Kevin's behavior. No forum member should be deceived, Lied to, or cheated when doing business on this forum, AZ Billiards can only be a safe place if all of the membership stands up for what is right. In the recent past many have forgotten how important this is and because of this things have come to this. I have put my reputation on the line to expose this, and I am certain that many are tired of all this and also tired of hearing from me, however, I would do it all again given the same situation without a second thought.
Now I am certain Kevin, that you will post at some point, and say that the Mod's have warned you not get involved,and that I have it out for you, or I am trying to run you off AZ, or I am a manwus, or whatever.:boring: But Kevin you have dug your own hole, I told you that you were heading down a road you did not want to travel, well Kevin you have finally hit the wall at the end of the tunnel. All I can say Kevin is do the right thing for these people, they deserve no less, totally come clean, you will feel better in the morning.:wink2:

It is because threads like this one do well on forums. It seems that sometimes the unpleasant threads seem to garner more attention than the pleasant threads on forums, IMHO.
Next time there is a flame thread, much like this one, watch how it grows in number of hits on this forum. :sorry:
