My Varney Nightmare

All I can say is "Play with a Varney, or get PLAYED by Varney...seems to be about 50/50 from all I read here on AZ.
If I ever lose my mind and think I want a Varney, I'll buy it from John Holmes aka Parismango aka Barkcinnamon or someone else of similar character second hand....sounds like I'd have better odds.

Varney will never reply
He will never come on here and defend himself but he will send all of his nut hugging buddies to do it for him, and any of you Varney cronies that what to give me some bad rep go right ahead.
you will see him posting in a couple of days with some new cues, that's what always happens when a thread like this comes up. I think it's sad that he took these peoples money, he should at least let them know something about their cues.

Just to add,
iI saw him 3 weeks ago at a pool touney near charlotte, a small sunday tournament and he was there and usually is every sunday. he tried to sell me a sneaky pete, he had some story behind it being for someone local who changed their mind LOLOL! of course i declined because i had him do a repair on a cue i had about 10 years ago and it fell apart within a year
and also i had a J/b he made that i did sell on AZ and he ended up pming me to take it off and said it was not " a good example of his current work" but he would not take it in as partial trade for a new cue
. I guess he forgot me in a sea of others he has ripped off. i didn't forget.
if anyone would like me to ask him anything pm me and i will ask him when he is around here trying to sell cues that he probably owes others.

While I think this subject needs to be brought up because people need to understand what they are in for when they order a Varney cue but I am amazed at the level of negative comments that get thrown back and forth on this site these days.
