My Varney Nightmare

I am not saying he is dangerous or insecure. All I am saying he may have a few weapons that can hurt you. Your choice. Too me the more weapons the better. In the USA we should be able to own machineguns without the high prices and tax fees. :frown:
Glen

do you think a $200 tax fee for a full auto from 1934 law is a problem??

you can buy a fully automatic for less that a lot of cues.

what's your point?

just a little THANK YOU!

Glen, let me say this you know you are good when you intended target feels you reach out and touch them before they here the shot. I personally love the Barret, and the older five round bolt action Browning 50 Cal Rifle. I will take either over the HK anytime. I also absolutely loved the M60 machine gun, if it was taken care of and kept clean no better 30 Cal machine gun around. I also had a great deal of respect for the M79 40mm Granade Launcher, in the right hands that little baby would make a big mess. But a 20mm vehicle Mounted Canon is also a great weapon for destroying equipment, like boot's, helmets, body Armor, and other forms of LBE. If your enemy gets in the way, too bad do you know what I mean!!!!!!!!!!!

All my training was during my Military service, I retired from the US Army in 2003, my last assignment was with the 3rd Brigade 2nd Infantry Division (Stryker).

Have a good night!!!

thank you for your service to us all!

nothing more to say than that as you already have all my respect!!

this thread has got off track

my experience with K.V.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I first p.m. him in late may .

I said " I wanted in line for a jump break . Just hang on to my name and number and let me know when it was my turn. I also told him I don`t care how long it took just let me know when you are ready."

He sent me a p.m. the first week of June .

He said that he had a used one and it was mine if I wanted it . I received it after 5 days .

Now the Barret is a gun I have always wanted . But I have a AR-10T with a nightforce 12-42x56 that was built by John Holliger http://www.whiteoakprecision.com/ that shot a 1/2 inch hole at 350 yds . That will have to do until I get a Barret

although I was never interested on his cues ever since. I think the only specialty he has anyway is to (See below for Mr. KV to do list from his vault)

buy 200 house cues for 9.99 each with free shipping
cut it in 3 pieces and put a SS, what 3/8x10 pin>?
then put a brown phenolic collars on the cue
then re-do a little coating finish
and then my favorite part, SELL IT FOR $300.00 each :yikes: :yikes: :thumbup2: :thumbup2:

ooohh...ooohhh...Red rep...comin right up for me and as if its a big deal. A few of dishonest AZER here have gotten more green reps than the honest ones.:banghead: :banghead: :speechless: :speechless:
Hilarious. I make a break cue for local league players in my area. I take a McDermott house cue, cut it in half, install a 5/16-18 pin and insert, and a melamine ferrule with G-10 tip. I sell them for $100. Guess I need to get creative, put the second joint in the cue, and charge $250 more for them? Maybe I should put a "Varney" signature on them and throw them on eBay.

sorry retail but:

sorry, but in my humble opinion calling your a MORON is completely appropriate.

this forum is like a special club and we "protect" each other. only a moron would not see that benefit of being a member.

hense; you're a MORON.

YOU CAN RED REP ALL YOU LIKE - I DON'T GAF.

have a nice day,
smokey

Why would I bad rep you? I mean...YOU said it. It's your opinion. And...really? A special club, yeah? I had no idea. :p You know...I'm all about looking out for others. But...when you were a kid...and all the adults were looking out for you...I'm sure there were certain things that you just got tired of hearing. Brush your teeth. Eat your vegetables. Be home before dark. We know those things are good for us. We just got sick of hearing them ALL THE TIME. We know KV is bad for us. Post a thread about it...everyone replies there...and people listen...or don't. Like I said...it's just not completely necessary to have the Varney thread of the day...when everyone's dissent can be voiced under one heading.

BTW...why would I drop red rep on you for merely stating your opinion? Unlike you...I respect people's opinions on here...right, wrong, or indifferent. I would never do that. Shows you how little you know of me. As for the fact that you don't give a f*ck about yourself...I can assure you...I don't either. So there....see? We DO agree on something. Neither one of us gives a rats ass about you.

Seriously though...lets BBQ this guy for the duration of history. Everyone will get worked up and stressed out. It'll be fun. Mind you...it won't change anything...and people will continue to do business with the man at their own discretion, and log on here to complain about it. You've been a forum member for a long time. You surely know this.

By the way...I sent good rep your way...because I'm moron.

YEP, AND THE BEST PART IS YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO DO GOOD JOINT WORK, YOU CAN JUST ROUND THE EDGES, AND CLAIM THAT "IT'S TO KEEP THEM CHIP FREE" I STILL HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT WHY ANYBODY GIVES HIM ANY MONEY. I'VE TRIED A FEW, AND THEY SERE NICE, BUT IN MY OPINON, NO WHERE NEAR WORTH THE HYPE. A FEW "NUT HANGERS" CREATED HIS MARKET, AND NOW IT'S CRASHING, AND I'M LOVING IT.

I have to disagree with the "a few hut hangers created his market" statement. When I ordered with him I first did an extensive check into his AZB history. It was much more than a few. Many, many, many people lauded his cues, his work, his customer service, his value as a human being, everything you can imagine, including many very prominent and seemingly respected posters on here.

I came across one issue and since it was basically one guy arguing against dozens and dozens of supporters, it definitely looked to me like that one guy was the crackpot. And heck, any business will have something go wrong or have some weirdo take issue when there really isn't one. If anything finding that issue made him seem even more legitimate.

Your basic point is right, of course. Since the complaints started getting louder and more common, many of his more casual supporters have fallen silent, and even many of his louder supporters have toned it down. There's really nothing left to defend.

the deal is,he has been offering people special deals on j/b cues or freebies or whatever for positive feedback on his cues since day one.for instance,he sent PM's out to guys saying that if they write a good review and stand up for his product then in return he will make them a j/b at half price.

that is how he had so many people writing good reviews and defending him in threads.it was all bought and paid for.

Mason, I completely agree with you, except I would add that from the time Kevin has been here, almost every negative thread about him has been deleted.

Kevin has had the entire group of so called Varney Family Members (his customers) add fuel to the fire every time there was a problem, and then they would all beg the Mod's to delete the thread.

The above more than anything else is what has allowed Kevin to continue doing what he has for so long. Kevin was contacting the Mod's directly and giving them sad stories, he even told them some one named Manwon was calling his house and making threats to him and his family. They contacted me and told me what was said, I was never told I was going to be banned because of it, the individual who sent the PM asked me to back off a little, and also said he did not believe what was said. The Mod's were also part of the problem by doing what they did. However, I believe they were also only doing what they thought was right. I am not criticizing their actions in any way, because I certainly know how difficult decisions can be to make, and I also understand that that everyone will never be pleased with any decision.

I hope that in the future everyone learns from this, and I hope things are better in the future. But, this also means that everyone has to be involved to make this happen.

FOR CONSPICUOUS GALLANTRY AND INTREPIDITY AT THE RISK OF HIS LIFE ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY AS THE LEADER OF A SPECIAL RECONNAISSANCE ELEMENT WITH NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE TASK UNIT AFGHANISTAN ON 27 AND 28 JUNE 2005. WHILE LEADING A MISSION TO LOCATE A HIGH-LEVEL ANTI-COALITION MILITIA LEADER, LIEUTENANT MURPHY DEMONSTRATED EXTRAORDINARY HEROISM IN THE FACE OF GRAVE DANGER IN THE VICINITY OF ASADABAD, KONAR PROVINCE, AFGHANISTAN. ON 28 JUNE 2005, OPERATING IN AN EXTREMELY RUGGED ENEMY-CONTROLLED AREA, LIEUTENANT MURPHY?S TEAM WAS DISCOVERED BY ANTI-COALITION MILITIA SYMPATHIZERS, WHO REVEALED THEIR POSITION TO TALIBAN FIGHTERS. AS A RESULT, BETWEEN 30 AND 40 ENEMY FIGHTERS BESIEGED HIS FOUR-MEMBER TEAM. DEMONSTRATING EXCEPTIONAL RESOLVE, LIEUTENANT MURPHY VALIANTLY LED HIS MEN IN ENGAGING THE LARGE ENEMY FORCE. THE ENSUING FIERCE FIREFIGHT RESULTED IN NUMEROUS ENEMY CASUALTIES, AS WELL AS THE WOUNDING OF ALL FOUR MEMBERS OF THE TEAM. IGNORING HIS OWN WOUNDS AND DEMONSTRATING EXCEPTIONAL COMPOSURE, LIEUTENANT MURPHY CONTINUED TO LEAD AND ENCOURAGE HIS MEN. WHEN THE PRIMARY COMMUNICATOR FELL MORTALLY WOUNDED, LIEUTENANT MURPHY REPEATEDLY ATTEMPTED TO CALL FOR ASSISTANCE FOR HIS BELEAGUERED TEAMMATES. REALIZING THE IMPOSSIBILITY OF COMMUNICATING IN THE EXTREME TERRAIN, AND IN THE FACE OF ALMOST CERTAIN DEATH, HE FOUGHT HIS WAY INTO OPEN TERRAIN TO GAIN A BETTER POSITION TO TRANSMIT A CALL. THIS DELIBERATE, HEROIC ACT DEPRIVED HIM OF COVER, EXPOSING HIM TO DIRECT ENEMY FIRE. FINALLY ACHIEVING CONTACT WITH HIS HEADQUARTERS, LIEUTENANT MURPHY MAINTAINED HIS EXPOSED POSITION WHILE HE PROVIDED HIS LOCATION AND REQUESTED IMMEDIATE SUPPORT FOR HIS TEAM. IN HIS FINAL ACT OF BRAVERY, HE CONTINUED TO ENGAGE THE ENEMY UNTIL HE WAS MORTALLY WOUNDED, GALLANTLY GIVING HIS LIFE FOR HIS COUNTRY AND FOR THE CAUSE OF FREEDOM. BY HIS SELFLESS LEADERSHIP, COURAGEOUS ACTIONS, AND EXTRAORDINARY DEVOTION TO DUTY, LIEUTENANT MURPHY REFLECTED GREAT CREDIT UPON HIMSELF AND UPHELD THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.

The other SEALS in that picture with the exception of Marcus Luttrell (4th from the left) were all Killed In Action serving our country.

Marcus Luttrell wrote a book about the fight that took the lives of his team mates and the action that Murphy was awarded the MOH for. It is aptly titled Lone Survivor ( http://www.amazon.com/Lone-Survivor-Eyewitness-Account-Operation/dp/0316067598 ). Amazing read about a truly amazing group of men. If anyone remembers the helicopter that was shot down that was full of SEALs on a rescue mission in Afghanistan they were on the way to extract Murphy and Lutrell's team when they were hit and all 16 members of the crew, 8 SEALs and 8 Night Stalkers of the 160th SOAR were killed.

Screw pro athletes and celebrities. Guys like these are the people that should be looked upon as role models and hero's.
