Naysayers Unite

I pretty much believe in the same things Joey. While I am not a believer in CTE, ALMOST everyone can do as they see fit and it is fine with me. But in this particular case it went way beyond the tolerence level.

I am not ridiculing him for his beliefs, I am ridiculing him because of the way he wants to pound it down everyones throats.

I am glad he is gone. I don't see him over here anymore either so maybe the same thing happened on this forum.

You're right about him being relentless in his urge to have us all become believers. He will single out individuals and attack them with a vengeance to no end.

If one thinks an aiming system helps them, so be it, but once others make up their minds that it is not for them then he should leave them alone. He will hound, insult, and use profanity to try to pull them over to his way of thinking.

It's a good thing that on the other site they try to cut these types of threads short before they pick up too much speed. See you in Vegas, Johnny.

You four guys have insinuated that Stevie Moore is a liar by the remarks you have made in this thread.

Now I know that's not what you meant, but you've opened that door and that's what you are suggesting.

You've suggested that Stevie may be paid for saying that he uses Pro One but that he really doesn't use Pro One as an aiming system. While I grant you that it is possible that he could be compensated for endorsing the product, it is unlikely that he is lying about using it.

None of you can possibly know whether or not Stevie uses Pro One. It is impossible for you to know if he uses Pro One or not, no matter how smart you think you are.

These aiming system threads don't mean anything to me personally. I don't have any stake in any of it. The good-natured ribbing amongst forum members is an acceptable forum practice.

But by making the statements you have made, you may not realize that you could be impeding an innocent person from making a living. I don't think you mean to do that. I certainly hope that's not what you intended to do. Regardless of your intentions, you must realize that these type of insinuations cast aspersions upon the character of Stevie Moore. Sponsors look long and hard at who they sponsor and don't take kindly to liars.

I hope that you will edit your posts at your earliest convenience as I know that none of you genuinely mean to injure Stevie Moore and his reputation.

As soon as you edit your posts, I will do the same with this one.
(When you get finished editing your posts, feel free to continue attacking poor old JoeyA :D :D:D)

Thanks for your cooperation.

Oh, this whole idea that someone, who doesn't put in what some believe to be enough time by others, to learn CTE are unwilling or unmotivated don't understand the difference between wasting time and spending time doing something.

We all have only so much time and most of us do not know how much time that is. So, for me and I bet alot more, time is very precicous and not to be wasted on useless things but to spend time on things that truely matter to a person.

So, for some, CTE is a waste of time and for others, they enjoy spending there time on it.

But to imply that those who no longer want to waste their time on CTE as being unwilling or unmotivated is very shallow thinking. They value their time, see it as limted and want to use it up in the best way from them and no one else.

It always cracks me up: you must come to CTE with "an open mind"; really, really want to learn it; watch the DVD 20 or 30 times; take the lessons; drink the Kool-Aid; and give it, oh... six to eight years of your life to give it a fair chance to kick in.

I have insinuated that Stevie Moore is human and if you like someone and they ask you for an endorsement and you can help them by giving them an endorsement you give that endorsement to help them out.

See it all the time in PR.

No, I did it all by myself.

I have always stayed away from the aiming threads over here and am not a fan/believer. When Hal Houle would go into his systems at California Billiards in San Jose several years ago, I would get as far away from him as possible. Good guy, but I was and am a non believer.

Problem is, JB has started posting on one pocket.org and he IMO is poisoning the site with this stuff. He posts on almost every topic and finds a way to bring CTE into the conversation. We even get videos. But that is really not the main problem. Those that disagree openly are now subject to a rant and name calling. I have him on ignore and have cured that problem.

I know there are lots of players that believe, and that is fine, if they think it helps them it probably does. I know you are a follower and you seem to be doing ok lately.

Hope to see you in Las Vegas, John

John, maybe we can get Joey to do a PowerPoint on CTE at the onepocket.org dinner in Vegas?

Lou Figueroa
lol, sometimes
I crack myself up :-)

Many moons ago I pissed off John so bad on RSB that he sent me an email that used the F-bomb *three* times -- as a verb, adjective, and noun -- all in one short memorable five word sentence.

Loved it.

I don't think you want to see him in Vegas. You must have pissed him off some more.

when you need to use the ignore list as much as lou...it means its time to look in the mirror

Lou has a little personality disorder but he likes what he sees in the mirror even if no one else does. :D

Not so.

Over on the udder site, John was challenged to play me in Vegas, as he has soooo often offered at 9/8, race to seven... but for $20,000.

Needless to say, several blustery excuses were proffered :-)

No different than you with your pom poms while everyone in the stands watches and wonders why you're making such a fool of yourself :-)

Don't take it so hard Lou.

You can't help being a hater. It's who you are. :-)

Paid to actually use it.... no.

Paid to *say* they use it...

Lou Figueroa
or maybe
they're just friends

I've seen him play in person too (Vegas 10Ball Open last year) and he dan't use nothin' that looks like him in Stan's DVD.

Lou Figueroa
wonder why

As far as Stevie Moore goes I know how it goes when you have a mentor, you want to give them so much credit to show your gratitude for helping your overall game. If an instructor is really stressing a certain teaching a person can be prone to go along with the excitement of the instructor and agree with them that Pro one has made all the difference. "Thank you Stan. You were right."

Meanwhile Stevie might be using mostly the memory from shooting a million balls to make the balls via fine tuning. Landon would be even more likely to convince his own dad that he is following the system exactly.

I'm not saying this is what happened but I feel this is a part of human nature that could play a part.

If Stan hadn't invented the pro one part of it then all the guys who were saying they used CTE would have to do the pivot for all to see to prove they were using it. How convenient that they can say they are using CTE but show no signs of using it.

Brilliant! Stan talks about how all the pros are going to improve when this info gets out. He can fantasize that they are all using it in years to come because even though there are no signs of pivoting they are using "pro one" which is not detectable.

What a racket.

I have insinuated that Stevie Moore is human and if you like someone and they ask you for an endorsement and you can help them by giving them an endorsement you give that endorsement to help them out.

What you've done Lou, repeatedly is to ridicule people who use an aiming system that you don't like.

What you've done Lou, is to insinuate that Stevie Moore does not use Pro One.

What you have in essence said, is that Stevie Moore is a liar. This shows a total lack of class, Lou.

You should apologize to Stevie immediately for calling him a liar. (You really don't know what you are talking about and you are talking out of your arse).

Do not put words in my mouth or I will put them in yours and you will not like the taste.

I don't think he's a liar -- a shill, maybe (probably).
