Mark, although my brother does not charge a client unless he takes the case, I do not feel he would call you and give you free advice unless he had a possiblity of being retained, and especially since you are a total stranger.
Can't a local attorney you know tell you if you have any recourse?

Excellent question. He comes on here saying how his brother helps out pool players all the time and then turns around and says oh you're a stranger and would need to retain him, wth?? Besides, Mark isn't some local unknown pool player in some podunk town. He's very visible, and works hard to promote the living legends of our favorite game. IMO, your brother should be offering him free help as opposed to the local yokels.
I prefer the Rude Dog (RIP) method.
