Looks like Pink Ivory to me...that, or a really 'washed' out Purpleheart. But I am leaning more towards Pink Ivory.

I would bet on pink ivory. I had a Omen cue made of it and it looks the same as it did.

I'd say it's an African wood called Padouk...with a lot of grain runout or sideways grain.

According to Bamacue's post, it's Bloodwood.

My Kersenbrock is paduak. poolrod.

Bloodwood is much stronger and denser.does that Kers hit soft?is it cored?i wouldn't think Paduak would be strong enough for a forearm unless cored,i was wondering if he cored it or maybe just found an excellent piece.

It isn't cored, he must have found a great piece. The cue hits real solid. poolrod.
