I don't know about everyone else, but I'm really frickin' tired of 9-ball. Rack your own, pattern runout, blah blah. This game can't be fixed IMHO, it's boring as hell and I no longer wish to play a game where luck decides more games than skill. I'm done with 9-ball & I encourage more people to do the same.:mad::mad:

There is a whole section here on 14.1 continous pocket billiards. Tired of luck, play some straight pool.

If you're done, I'm done! I feel your pain.

That's why we play 10-Ball....SPF=randyg

...and 10-ball according to WPA standardized rules (i.e. call ball/pocket [no slop], called safeties with option to return it back to the shooter, etc.).

Tired of the lipsticked/Band-Aided/duct-taped 9-ball pig? Play 10-ball -- and the real 10-ball, not this Texas Express-ized crap.

To all who suggested 10-ball, I did play in the Team DMIRO event in Greensboro this past weekend. I enjoyed 10-ball very much. My finish was a little disappointing, but I was happy with my play.

My guess would be that if you develop your 9 ball game to the next level, your opponents will stop being so "lucky".
