NEW! chazdillon case thread

man on post 1 i was going to order one of these cases... like 140 posts later, I'm sort of in shock.. can anyone post some photos of a case they've received?? still wanna see one. Looked like good work originally. I just ordered a vinyl case from Barton.

this is insane, did chaz drop out from the world or something. just honestly tell these people what going on with their cases. or you might just end up with an angry mob of pool players knocking your door. No disrespect intended, just sayin'
 
i have left a message every 3 days for the last few weeks with no response. This has now been almost 11 months since this raffle ended and i still haven't seen a damn thing\

Maybe his manager or one of the members here who told you to be patient 9 months ago will send you a case in place of the air he raffled off.
 
too funny.......he just called me and said it's finished. getting hi-res pics for his site cdcustomcuecases.com. unfortunately i still can't have any hopes at this point in time until it's in my hands or i see pics but who knows.

this is the exact reason I got my mney back. when he couldn't meet his orders he promised, I felt something wasn't right. wish you all the best of luck getting your cases or money back.
 
believe me.....i probably would have asked for a refund if this had not been a raffle win. if he refunded the proceeds of the raffle to me, there would probably be people screaming or the potential for legal issues because then it became a cash lottery. if he refunds everyone their spots from before i basically get the shaft. at least this way i'm out tops $45 in entry's and i might still get a really good case out of the deal. that's basically where my patience has come from.
 
i wanted to wish all of you a happy valentines day.....it's now the 50 week anniversary since the raffle was started. KISSES
 
Talked to Chaz today. I was concerned after giving him and his phone a brake for 3 weeks or so and then not being able to get ahold of him this weekend. Today I was told my pockets are done and I should get a pic tonight. I hope he follows through.

After fairly good prior success in getting Chaz to return calls, I have recently left messages three times without getting a callback. Very frustrating. Please post if you get some pics, or, shock of all shocks, an actual case.
 
well I got a call last week from a Charles that said he works with Chaz. He told me the case is done and I would get a call from Chaz tuesday or wednesday with a tracking number. Well it is friday and I haven't heard from anyone. I will try calling Chaz and Charles later today and see if I get any answers.

Sounds like everyone is getting the same story.:eek:


Mine was supposedly finished on 2-4-10 and would ship out that weekend.
Then heard from Charles and it would ship out by 2-15-10 because Chaz had to take pics of it for his website. Also found out that Charles is taking care of fielding calls for Chaz so that Chaz can work on cases
Last I heard was earlier this week and the case should ship out by Friday.

I'll be amazed if any of us get a case

Same here. I spoke with Chaz on Feb 2; he told me that he was "100%" sure my case would be finished by the end of that week and shipped on Feb. 8. Since then I have left him three phone messages to call me with an update; no response. My patience is at an end; we're being played for complete fools.
 
Case delivered January 2010

Very nice work, especially in the braiding. This case gets wows at every place I have taken it to. I know lots of folks are getting delays on their cases and a lack of communication. I can tell you that this case was also delayed but in the end it was well worth the wait.

I dont believe Chaz is frauding people, I believe he is just slow at his work because he doesnt want to ship anything that is not first quality. He reminds me alot of Dennis Searing in this regard. Dennis has been working on a cue for me since fall of 2000. Seriously.

Great looking case Uwate!! Now thats the kind of quality work we all want to see in our cases. My case is the one in the first thread. I think hes creating his own problems with lack of honest communication. You cant take customers money and then act like they are a hassle when they want what was promised when it was promised. People understand that things come up. That you have to take some time for yourself and familiy. Chaz has the potential to be a world class case maker, but a bigger part of that is business manner and ethics. If people cant trust you with their hard earned dollars, you wont have a business. I want total success for Chaz and his new business venture. But he will have to mend some burned bridges to achieve total success in this business. My unsolicated advise would be, just shoot straight with the expectation of finishing a case. Tell people up front the estimated wait time. Shoot even give yourself a couple extra weeks just in case. But most importantly, if you see a deadline is gonna be missed for whatever reason, call the customer before he calls you. People accept bad news much better than being totally ignored for weeks at a time. Just my humble advise and opinion.
