Like to introduce myself, I am Hudson Smith. I live in Livingston, Montana but I am originally from Socal, LA, born and raised in Hemet, CA.
I've been reading AZB for a long time and agree and disagree at any given time with the different posts. I also miss the night life of LA, the beaches but most especially the women. I also miss availability of being able to hustle a few dollars playing 9 ball at a local bar or pool room. Don't get me wrong, I've lost as much as I've won - well maybe more.
I decided finally to join the forum because I would like to contribute and put my 2 cents in. Looking forward to being a part of AZB.

HudsonSmith...Welcome to the forums! I lived in Bozeman for 20 years, and have many friends in Livingston. You can probably get Walter Nead to gamble some with you, in Livingston. There's a few guys in Bozeman that will gamble too. Man, that's a stretch from LA to Livingston...both socially and physically. You better like winter! LOL

Hey Hudson, did you ever meet Bob Morris in Hemet? He would be in his late 50's now. A pretty good player once upon a time. we made a nice score together in Santa Barbara many moons ago. I heard he ended up in Hemet. Another guy from hemet named Craig Hauser was a good player too.

Wait a minute. Stop the presses. Did you say there are no women in Livingston, Montana? It's just a town full of guys? Damn, and I was planning on going there on vacation.
Anyway, welcome Hudson. You'll really like this place. Every now and then we have a giant free-for-all, call each other dirty names, then toast marshmallows and sing Kumbaya. Pretty cool. :smile:
 
Holy Crap Hudson, I went to high school in Livingston. Beautiful place to live. Welcome to the boards and I'll probably be seeing you on my way to Kalispell ;)

Welcome to the forum Hudson!

I've lived most of my life in Louisiana and have never been to Socal, LA. j/k :D

I've always wanted to visit Montana, so start posting about those unique pool tournaments that everyone comes out for in Montana. You never know when JoeyA will hop on a plane and show up, wherever.

I want to thank everybody fo rthe welcome. I've been out fishing or should I say trying to fish, the water is still mucky and plan to do that most of the summer. Learning how to fly fish it's like pool it's all in the stroke only over your head or should I say mine.
Most of you who ask if I know this person or that I haven't been back to Hemet for almost 20 years. And just not long ago moved here to Montana. I'm a private person for the most part. Ihave a lot of friends and I keep them close. Family is another matter not so close.
When I play for money it's usually like my Dad taught me a shot a beer and a dollar or 5 or 10. I love the game of pool, have watched some on the computer.
I played in some tournaments when I was on the east coast.
But I want everybody to know I appreciate the welcome and look forward to sparing with everyone. IMHO
