This is my first post just to say hello. I tried to just stay an observer, but I am so hooked that here I am on a Friday night making my initial post!!!

I look forward to meeting and getting to know many of you and hope that I can contribute to the community.

Yep, it's hard to remain a lurker on this site. It only took me about 2 years to find the guts to actually make a post....(since then, I've gone steadily downhill):thumbup:

Enjoy your time here, if you like pool, and BS'ing about pool, (and everything else) this is the place for you.

I've played pool since about 94, but I haven't played competitively since the first ever Swanee Memorial in San Diego at College Billiards. Oh yea, I'm from California by the way. I'm one of the people that hope that I can contribute to increasing the popularity of billiards in this country. Is that enough to stay on your good side Bigtruck?:wink:

I have relatives in Houston that I haven't seen in a while. If and when I get out there next, hopefully soon, you can update me on the Texas scene. Thanks.
