Gotta love that trophy wall in Niels' pool room. By the end of his career, all that hardware will cover every inch of wall down to the baseboards.
 
I like Neils a lot. I think we have a tendency to forget about him since he doesn't play much in the states anymore due to a lack of big events here, but I follow him on Facebook and he dominates a lot of the Euro tournaments. Seems like he wins a new one or has a good finish every week.

I was wondering that myself. either niels already blasted through 1000 or they are eating dinner. Also the score wasn't available when I was watching so if anyone knows a more accurate update???? :confused:
 
Niels posted on his facebook that he won the match, and he posted his and Stephan's runs. I think Niels had 1 over 100 which was a 109. He said it was good practice for an upcoming Euro 14.1 event. Also, he said the match will be up on youtube soon. He said the first part is already up. I don't know which channel.

I think that post was only talking about the runs for day 2. Niels had a 116 on Day one, also.

The sound had to be removed because otherwise, the music was causing copyright problems and it could not be viewed in many countries.

Sorry straight pool lovers, but 14.1, could be one of the reasons pool is in decline !..It is obviously the most boring spectator game in the world ! :( ..ANY other pool game, or discipline is more viewer friendly !..Thats why straight pool died out 50 yrs. ago !..Wake up guys !.. One Pocket, or even 9/10ball is where its at !.. Thats why thats all the good player's gamble at anymore ! :eek:

PS..Show me one person, who can watch a 1000 point straight pool match, without falling asleep ? :confused:

One-pocket used to be an old man's game back in your day... Noone started playing it until the started missing... Your starting young speaks volumes LOL :thumbup:

I agree, it's a game of patience. It bores me to tears to play it, coz I rather shoot 10 challenging shots and miss 5 of them than play dribble stun roll through pool for hours on end.
