I'm still not doing so good but Maniac has definitely shown he knows how to get the action! I think we may have to set a date and all head that way for the Mansfield Maniac Megathon. We can always change it to the Mansfield Maniac Memorial for next year's event and keep the same initials if he is married.

Think I'll have to rope JoeyA in on the megathon so I can bum a ride. We'll let him do a little commentating at the event. Perhaps the first and last MMM if Maniac's wife has a shotgun, who can resist being immortalized on tape as a part of history?(We may all be history)

When you rope Joey into something you can never be sure which end of the rope you are on! Catching him is usually like throwing Br'er Rabbit in the briar patch. Offering him pool and commentating should have him 3/4 hooked though, if I can find him a fish to catch of the finned variety or a duck to shoot, think I'll be in there.

I don't think I could afford that Beverly Hills stuff. I don't drive one of them Rowels Reeses or what ever. I would get laughed at in my 1990 Nissan 1/4 ton.

I think I am going to play my wife for some beers tonight. My nose is open wide. She was good to me today, she cleaned the trailer real good. I am feeling very decadent. I have a new business plan for next summer. I am going to cut lawns as a side line and if I make enuff money doing that, I am going to buy a post hole auger and make post holes for people. If I do real good, I might be able to move to Vegas and buy me some of that cheap property.

The two day or longer benchrest matches with time to socialize evenings were great fun too. We can certainly pass a good time if folks head this way. Lot's of good people in the New Orleans area. Some post on AZB, some don't, but all know how to have some fun.

Sounds like Maniac could put together a fun time for at least a small group too. I started the thread as a joke but it is developing into something far better than expected.

The good thing about coming to New Orleans is that it is downhill all the way. I'm about two feet above sea level where I am at and New Orleans is six or eight feet below sea level! Come on down thisaway and we'll find some fun times.

I'd jump into partners wid you on your business, or would have until you mentioned post holes. I have dug way more than my lifetime quota of post holes, gives me the heebie-jeebies just thinking about digging one more. My hands feel like they are raising blisters just typing about post holes. My buddy John has cornered the market around here, John Deere. He is a tree planting son of a gun with a 24" or 30" auger too. First time I saw a power auger I thought it was a wonder for the ages. I think I like them even better than flush toilets.

Harrah's New Orleans

Where is Tunica, Mississippi? And if there isn't any action, how will anyone pay for their expenses?

There is softer poker action at Harrah's just across town than at Tunica and in Biloxi and other stops along the coast along with nice beaches and other attractions. Tunica is a little further ride but definitely still day trip or overnight distance. There are at least six or eight casinos with poker action within an easy drive of New Orleans and all joking aside somebody coming to South Louisiana hunting action on a pool table can get accommodated in at least a half-dozen places within seventy-five miles of here and then there is that short drive past all those casinos on the coast to Mobile Alabama which is rumored to have a little action too.

People down here love to gamble and will gamble on almost anything. Come down to acadiana and I guarantee you can make some money and have more fun spending it than almost anywhere in the country. I think anywhere but I might be a wee bit biased, I spent almost every weekend in acadiana for all of my high school years and another half-dozen years afterwards. The party started Friday afternoon and ended Sunday evening. Well, sometimes Thursday afternoon, Fridays always seemed a little optional in high school and when I started working for a living many jobs were four tens with every Friday off.
