Can this Larry guy write off the entire $2 mill loss against capital gains on next years return?

The tight pockets are mandatory. I watched too many bb matches where only one team shot.

Has anyone here been to a restaurant or bar for a soft open? That's when you get free food, as they try to identify and work out all the bugs. Pretty much every restaurant or bar does this before really opening and charging because you can't really simulate all the things that will come up with real customers. This doesn't seem all that different.

To recover, they just need to (1) make tonight's match available for free for a while and (2) make next week and the week after that and so on free until the kinks are worked out.

And yes, it would have made sense to call this a soft open or something similar. Actually, this could explain why they didn't market in pool halls or really anywhere outside AZB in advance, as many people have pointed out...

Well...... you have a whole bunch of eager beta testers right here who COULD have tested it out well before the OFFICIAL start of the season.

Really bummed, know it was a lot of effort but, crashing and burning out of the gate on the streaming wasn't really something that should have ever happened.

As more people drop off, it seems to be getting a lot better...(either that, or they are recalibrating on the fly)...

Been consistent for me with steady chop. Jeremy Jones and Rodney are good together in the booth. I like the smooth traditional announcer as well who comes in when there is a lag.

Fix the chop, get the chat working and work out the audio issues and it will be an interesting show. I dont think anyone will pay for it but I would watch it for free sometimes just to listen to double J.

Is quoting even allowed in this fast-moving thread?

I could have been playing pool, or doing laundry, or something else semi-productive. But instead, I committed this night to watching this (and roped in the GF). Even took off of work early.

In Nathan's defense, he did say (somewhere on AZB) that they wanted to use the first week to work out the kinks on the production. I think that was a great idea, but it shouldn't have been scheduled for the premiere.

Like I've said before, I wish Nathan, and everybody invoked, nothing but the best of success. There's a LOT of work to do tonight, and I suspect that Nathan will have a sleepless night tonight. I hope he finds the solution and gets things back on track tomorrow, but also I hope he takes care of himself.

Don't get me wrong. I think this could be a great opportunity, and I wish them all the best.

Good luck, guys.
