No chance for Frost. Harsh reality

I think Shane wants 9/8 if I heard right from Scott? That statement might have been from a while back though from Facebook.

Shane wanted 9/8 which was the same game they played in Vegas
They played for 33 hours and broke even
Scott said he shoukd play even now tho as that was in 2011 or 12

Shane said on tar that was best one pocket experience he's had playing Scott that long

Longer race I like Scott against Shane but I'm not too well versed in Shane's one pocket
I know he doesn't like it as much

Corey tried marching up with him at hard times but Shane didn't fancy it

How it has gone, updated:

.........Alex - Scott
Day 1 -- 11-7 (+4)
Day 2 -- 9-12 (-3)
Day 3 -- 11-11 (0)
Day 4 -- 17-14 (+3)

Total -- 48-44 (+4)

I didn't get to see the match until about 9:50 last night but what I saw was really amazing one pocket.

Some of the masse shots were like trick shots.

The game where they fought for the last ball, which would've put Alex 5 up showed
just how exciting one pocket can be.
The room I was watching it at....everybody heard us awing and oohing....most people
there gathered around and watched....I think we got a bunch of new fans who couldn't
even spell one pocket before before this match.....
....I've had numerous inquiries about the rules and choice of shots.

And I think we all owe BigTruck a tip .....man's a bulldog.

I've watched all 4 nights and am very impressed by the skill of both these guys. Some of the best one pocket I've ever seen. These two are in a league of their own

Haha.. Scott has a chance for sure Lenny.
He's or of my favourites I just can't bet against that little fella that lives an hour from me.

You live an hour away from Alex's suitcase?........
...you must travel a lot also.
:)

Don't you dare make me bump the "1-P is so slow" thread.

This is turning into an epic marathon. I think the level of play is improving daily. They both played very well yesterday imo. When Scott keeps his emotions in check he is a much better player. Alex looked particularly sharp almost all day. He is getting serious now (no more fun and games), as he sees he's in a real battle for supremacy.

This has to be one of the greatest matches in the history of one pocket.
I have been sweating matches for almost 40 years and i have never seen a better match.

Two of the very best players in the world going toe to toe in a high stakes match going on 5 days now.

Hat's off to both players for one hell of a show

Totally agree jay first two days were poor imo
However last two days quality has picked up

Credit to Scott I never thought he could hang in this long however partly because alex keeps letting him off the hook

If Alex starts strong be some real pressure on Scott

Last ball battle-twice

That was a great end game battle in one game for the last ball.

I would guess each had maybe 6-8 tries at it.

Then Alex whiffs the 95 degree back cut on ball frozen to end rail 1 1/2 diamonds from his hole, shooting from 8 feet away .....Scott misses the spot shot...Alex pockets the ball...(what a shot..two railer, end rail, end rail) and

then another 3-5 attempts by each, until Scott hits a cross over bank to his hole.

Wow. Just Wow...Amazing end game played out for our viewing pleasure.

As tense as this exchange was...pretty sure I saw some smiles and mini chuckles out of both guys...how could you not ...it was epic as Jay has stated.

...might be wrong about the number of attempts by each (twice), but it seemed like a lot...what a show we are being treated to.

WOW!
