People set up appointments for them to check out all sorts of unique stuff that would make great TV. Some of the people on that show come from all over the US for their TV bit.
They like to make it look like those people are just coming off the street and the camera just happens to be there, but that ain't the case.
Unless it's a super expensive piece of pool history (is there such a thing?), I wouldn't expect anything pool-related on that show anytime soon.

I'm surprised they don't show any pool cues on the show Pawn Stars. They show one in the opening of the show when it first comes on but I've never seen anyone pawning a cue.

Also, even if it was some unique historical cue, no one outside our small world would know the references to the people involved nor the significance of the event.
