Yup the all time monster is just weeks away from birth, i don't look at collecting as a competiting, it isn't . But this cue has been a very long time in the making and will be something special I hope you all enjoy..

I want to be clear the all time monster of this clear post 2006. It's not in the same league as a big Gus, Bushka as that was a different time period with different tools, materials. But given what's available today for cue makers to work with this cue will be near the top of the line of all current cues. It could possible be the strongest cue of the new school cues that will be born in 2010 of what will be showed should be among the top cue- if that's your bag( new school). Just amazing work,an ship inlays that are 5/1000" wide, tom give you a perception of how fine the detail is,

I'm not expressing myself to good todwy, my back hurts so bad. I can't stand it. I

Bottom line is I hope you guys enjoy it, it's the first cue I had made in a long time and I went the whole way. I'm. A old school cue guy too but man. When I saw one. Similar to this one 6-8 months ago in real life, i had to have one. I'm blessed beyond words in this case.

it will be finished in a couple weeks, I dont know if i'm going to keep it privte or unveil it at a cue show. what do you guys think??? it has over 1000 inlays in it ad is tasteful-unlike me sometimes;).

my back hurt so bad i couldnt articulate a good descrition of it without giving up too much, i want to make this a special thing like Ken Kerner did with La Finestra did a coulple years ago, its safe to say there wont be another cue this strong come along this year, Even if you dont like the cue-and some wontm thats cool, I firmly believe that even the people who dislike me an the cue will still recgnize the workmanship of the cue. There are big monster cues I dot like but I appericate the work/effort/execution/precision etc. I think thats what will make this the "Cue of the year 2010", if if dosent thats cool too, i;m not trying to out due anyone i just want people to enjoy it,


my favrite cue is the rose/roseood GSB hopie and the Tribute cue-that wont change. I'm not big on posting pics of my cues, if you notice about once in avout every 4-7 months pic or 2 pops up. Same wit this new cue, I wont be posting it, others might and thats cool-i am kinda private about tht and besides I dont know how to pot a pic, LOL :)

If you don't plan to post it, why even bring it up? Lots of cue buyers, especially the big collectors, get big cues delivered every year. They don't post on a board that they got the "cue of the year", but aren't going to post any pictures. I really don't understand the purpose of this thread.

So... you have the monster of all monsters in the works but... you're not gonna let anyone see it?!?! I agree with Scott. You post that you have something awesome but you won't let anyone see it. What's the point??

I think you will find it very hard to find a text that remains understandable and keeps its original meaning if you highlight only selected parts of it and ask questions about them. Actually, doing so makes very little sense to me and makes it more difficult to understand what one wished to say.

I know Eric a little and I know how he is with posting his cues or how he is with cues generally. I know that he knows a great deal about cues' history, value, playability etc and appreciates many cues as much as anyone else does on or off this forum.

What I understand is that the chances are that he will not post the cue on this forum. However, it possibly will be made public either at a cue show or at another way and that pretty much means that everyone who's interested will have the opportunity to see the cue with the taken pictures being shared here on AZ, on cuezilla or TAR or whatever.

I hope this cleared things up, I don't necessarily post this kind of stuff but it just simply does not make sense to ask such pity and often rhetorical questions and not taking a second minute to understand what one wanted to say. Finally, I assume that these probably won't help us see more cues of a collector on this forum - on the contrary, instead. Also, not posting pics but still initiating a conversation about cues is something I do not dislike as I like not only seeing cues but talking about them as well - especially when I guess that we are about to see something that is what I sense to be one hell of a cue.

because there hasn't been a thread about Eric in a day that's why he had to start one. The Gina has already been made, don't know how that cue can be topped....Unless Manzino decides to

I think it would be really generous to know the maker. I know I would feel very special to have my name considered with this pre-amble.

Hey Eric. You seem like a nice enough guy. I know (from your posts) that you're filthy rich and that your back hurts. I empathize.(in that my back is funked up,too) Are we going to see the cue or what? Otherwise, what's the point of your post? Just wonderin'....

I know Eric is very excited about this project, and I'm sure it will be an outstanding cue.
I did take photo's of "La Finestra" as a preview for AZer's before the ICCS show, but that was my personal choice. When it went to the ICCS infinite pictures were taken there. If Eric's choice is to unveil it at a show that will be wonderful for everyone in attendance. There is always plenty of camera's there, so I have to believe AZer's will get there opportunity also.
This show might turn out to be very special year for Monsters..
I'll be bringing a special little toy with me also:)
