Absolutely!!!

That is the reason a machine does the deflection testing and not a human.

Also what have you discovered about the amount of spin after contacting an object ball. That seems to be where I see the most difference.

Aiming is the main advantage in these shafts IMO. I know that is not what you are talking about, but that is the main reason I like them, not extra spin

I like the low deflection shafts because I don't have to aim to miss the ball as much when using english as well.

I like the maximum english to cut out how accurate you have to hit the ball. If you are using extreme english and try it a few times to find out the maximum action you get then thats a pretty good indication of the spin you are putting on the cueball. It cuts out some of the error with trying to consistently hit say 1/2 tip off ceter. If you hit a little more or less off your mark it looks like you are getting more or less spin. I guess my main assumption is that if a shaft puts more spin on the ball at one tip offset then it should put more spin on the ball far any amount of tip offset.

I'm not sure how what you mean by after contacting an object ball. The spin is on the cueball once it leaves the tip. I can't think of any affect shafts or tips would have on the cueball after it hits and object ball.

Thats why I think measuring the maximum affect over several tries is the next best thing I can do without building a robot. Might not give you results down to the millimeter but you will be able to judge the difference between shafts/tips or the lack thereof.

I believe Royce is backed up to the fullest since Derby City 08 was running. AZbilliard has the OB1 Banner for a while now.

He makes some badass shaft and I recommended to 3 of my friends and they bought it... next thing you know, they are just making balls after balls. One of them is a Lady in my team league and she has the lowest avg in the saunction and she's making more balls than those 2 guys that bought it.

I own two OB1 Shafts with Kamui S and MS, I would buy more in a long run if I find another cue.

Give him a break, he's worth the wait to get what you specifically need.

This is interesting. I don't know what he did previously to get a warning but I read this whole thread and the only thing I seen him say is a**hole. I saw an opinion and a debate, Which is what everyone claims this forum is for. A**hole is a word they don't even bleep out on tv. I don't know. From what I read in this thread I don't think he should have been banned. Seems to me if you keep banning your club members they may be less likely to actually "pay" to be a part of this site. Just my opinion.

From reading the thread it seems like there was alittle PM action going on...

BP had a way to under folk's skin (including me from time to time ) but I didnt see a reason to whop out the ban stick....


Does he get his monthly fee prorated back to him???? hey 2 bucks is 2 bucks ya know

profanity and disrespect can not be tollerated(sp) on this forum. It is not just for a few, it is for everyone to enjoy. Including people under the age of 18. This is the best site out there and I'm glad Mr. Wilson keeps it that way. FWIW
