Whoever sold you that piece of crap should not only refund you, but PAY you for not kicking his ass lol! I hope you get your money back. I got a cue with a warped butt about two years ago, and I never heard from the guy again after I told him about it. It was a pretty sick feeling knowing that it can't be fixed. A shaft? Fine. A warped butt? F*** NO.

all southwest butts DO NOT roll true. due to the parabolic taper. need to have somebody put it on a lathe and see what you got then. hope it works out for ya though.

Hal, I can just imagine the sick feeling in your stomach because I know i'd have a sick feeling in your position. I hope you get satisfaction on this cue deal. It's not fun to spend that kind of money and then be disappointed and I should know because I've been there!

I understand what a parabola is. But is it supposed to be this much?

I can believe it ...

I 'can' be that much ... when the cue is jointed together, if it rolls true with the shaft(s) that roll true on their own then it's 'kinda' normal for Kersenbrocks (owned 1), Omegas (owned 3), and Southwests (owned 2 - second just arrived FedEx from Vegas :)). I've seen this before, & once jointed up, everthing is fine as wine.

If it's not straight when jointed with the shaft, you got valid beef.

Dear lord.
I think I'm gonna reglue that cue I chopped off b/c the A-joint area had some runoff. We're talking less than 1/64ths here.
But the buttcap had no runoff. Neither did the joint.
Oh, too late. Too short now.

That cue looks like it's gonna dance between ceners. The owner prolly left it in the trunk of his car one too many time.

There is very much wobble with one shaft joined, and significant wobble with the other shaft joined.

Wow. I've heard of hemorrhoids, but it looks like you've got a really bad case of parabola butt. Get to a lathe quick!

What's the difference between very much wobble and signifigant wobble? Which is worse? I'm asking seriously

It's warped in the handle. Like Joey says, most likely the cue was improperly stored at some point in its life. Better send it back and pronto.

I'd think "very much wobble"?
...didn't thingie mention that one of the shafts had a wobble to it, though?

That butt scares me, though...and I'm not even the owner!
