"""""""""""""""Ok Folks, Get Ready For A Stupid Price Of $1400 Shipped"""""""""""""""

Nice cue and I'd like to have it but all I have to trade is a Schon stl-7 with three shafts, and I doubt I have enough cash to make up the difference.

Nice, cue, this guy's work is impressive.

I can't believe this cue is still for sale. This price is absurd for this cue, you're giving it away. If I didn't have one, I'd grab it in a heartbeat. Maybe folks don't know just who John Davis is or how great his cues play...here's a link. You must really need the money, good luck with your sale.

:p

?

Why is this cue still for sale? Do people realize how rare this cue is? This is a steal.

Yes Mr. Davis built the entire cue.

When is the last time ya'll saw a FULL Davis cue for sale? Exactly.

If the cue is signed you might want to post a picture of the signature. That would eliminate any confusion. Just a suggestion, nice cue.

Wow, very nice cue.

The points could be a bit longer though:p I like my points to go through to the shaft:eek:

Just kidding, man I really do like some nice long points like that.

Good luck with the sale:thumbup:

absolutely stunning....are you going to be in austin next weekend for the fast eddies??

Two questions....

1. What is the diameter of the butt where the wrap meets the butsleeve?

2. What was the original price when it was delivered from Mr. Davis?

Thanks,
'Mash

I am overseas. I am not able to look at the cue and give you the answer to question 1. The cue will ship from my home in Texas from the person who takes care of my house. I have sold about thirty cues and more than 20 cases with me being in Afghanistan and there has never been a problem.

Now I have a question for you. What does it matter what I paid for the cue? Just curious if you publicly ask this question about every cue for sale? What baffles me even more is you are probably not even considering the purchase of this cue. Just wasting my time. Thanks for trying to kill my sale friend.

The fact is this folks, this is a BRAND NEW cue that I waited about eight months for from one of the greatest in the business. It is now for sale as I am no longer collecting cues and this is the last cue I have for sale.

This cue is now $1300 shipped. Trust me when I say that I will burn it before I go below that price. The first one to pm me takes it home.

John

I'm going to resist the urge to blast you right now......

What kind of response is this???

The reason I asked about the price of the cue new is I'm not that familiar with the market of John's cues. I obviously know about his blanks but I have no idea of what he sells his full cues for. And yes I WAS interested in the cue or I wouldn't have asked.

You stated yourself that these are very rare. So how are people supposed to know what a great deal this is if you don't tell us. I only ask questions about cues that I am considering. Do I always buy them? Of course not. Some people ask too much money. Some of the cues are not the specs I would like (which is why I asked for the butt diameter), and some cues are just not in the condition I would like.

And I didn't ask you what you paid for it. I asked what the original price is from John. In other words, MSRP. Maybe I should have worded it differently.

First of all free to "blast me" my friend. Conveniently for me I am not bothered by internet toughness whatsoever.

Secondly, I suppose my previous response was a bit harsh. That is not like me at all and I apologize. I had a rough day here at "work" which is quite different than a bad day in the States.

Anyway, I bought the cue brand new from Mr. Davis. He does not build full cues often let alone with the inlays so yes this cue is rare.

So why am I selling it so cheap? Because I have sold my entire collection of about thirty cues ranging from 600-4000 and this is the last cue I have. I just want to get rid of it and am trying to give an AZ'er a good deal on a great cue. That's all.

So again folks 1300 is the price now let's get it sold.

Thanks, John

No worries John. And thank you for the apology.

This does seem like a really good deal for someone. I hope you sell it soon and the new owner is happy with it!
