Okay who oredered a Balance Rite Extension in the past few days

Fair Enough

I never said that it didn't work. I just said that it will pass. Fads always do, but I hope Balance Rite makes a Billion by selling products that customers want or need.

I meant no disrespect to you and you are correct about time will tell!

I am guilty ordered it from Pool Dawg after watching Mika and Jason at the Varner Classic this weekend and listening to Schmidt say he is going to try one...who else has ordered one!!!

I plead guilty here. Lol.
I bought the uniloc for my predator. It costs slightly more than the usual 5 16 14 joint though.

Do they make them in different colors?
The one I saw would look terrible on my player.

Well I got mine in February and love how it plays. I talked with Mika about it at SBX, he told me he liked the feel. It takes a little adjustment in you stroke. You have to take a little off your shot and draws a ton.

I saw one player that put Hula-hoop tape on his to make it black. He also remove the joint on the but end and had it taped to match his cue. This made it into a joint converter and dropped some of the weight.

But overall I like the feel and I can even jump full cue with it in place.

I got mine at Seybert's

I don't have one yet as I own 5 cues that are 60" in length & shoot with one as my main player. I ought to purchase one for the few remaining 58" cues I still own...why not, as I have just about every other pool gadget that has hit the market :o!!!

I ordered the extension 3 weeks ago from Seyberts, the shipping time in Europe is killing me. Can't wait to receive it and use, I'm sure I'll like it, it will be the first Balance rite extension in my country :)

Wait until you run into an opponent who insist on putting this on AND off during the match ... multiple times ... fraking annoying.

I can see that happening...
I can also see a rise in the number people having to go to the hospital to get extensions removed from their @$$ after doing that one too many times.

I probably would order one if I am not expecting my 60' cue coming to me in April.

Besides, I would feel awfully sorry to Ed if I put something $35 between his premium shaft and butt... hehe

I tried it and liked it for a while but one thing I noticed was everything felt almost too light after you switch back. It took weeks for me to get used to playing without it

I thought that the pros were leaving them on. I was thinking about buying one cause I could use a longer cue at 6' 2". The only negative I see, as long as the balance and feel are OK, is the looks of it and how it will detract from your nice looking cue. If they are meant to only use when an extension is needed, then it would be a pain waiting for someone. If that's the case, then I'll use the rake.

No balance rite for me, but I did pick up a 30" shaft and I also have a 6" screw in extension. Makes my cue 65" long and weighs around 23-24 oz.

Earl's cue has two extension sizes he can switch out, I believe. He had a short 4-6" extension on in a match I saw, but he also has that huge 8-10" extension wrapped up in the white tennis grip.

Shane just has a 6" cuetec extension.

Might order one. I dont want it for regular use though. I imagine it has to take away some of the feel of your cue.

$40 for a 3" piece of wood? Somebody is getting rich. johnnyt

That equates to about a $750 cue....so really, that's about par.

But damn.....that $750 cue would have a LOT of joints !!!

What are you saying about $5,000 customs Johnny??? ;)

Yes, people DO get rich by selling their products...remember that the next time you pay for a $40 meal at a restaurant that probably cost them about $10 to make....or $30,000 for that car that cost about $8,000 to build...or $500 for that television that cost about $150 to manufacture These would be several out of a gazillion examples that I could refer to as an example of people getting rich off of their products.

Hell...I was in a linen store with my wife last weekend and saw a 5'x3'x4" piece of foam rubber that sold for $47 (yes, that's forty-seven dollars ). Who do you think is getting rich off of that $1.50 piece of foam???

Maniac (if you build it...they will come)
