Joey-Fly in & take the shuttle. Or I will gladly pick you up at the airport around 6:30PM (about the time I should hit KC).
I am pulling for Baraks & Shane McMinn. If jump cues are not allowed, as I believe bignasty mentioned, then that is minus for Baraks. He jumps with precision & ability to control his cue ball, on a bar table, as good as anyone in the world. In a ring game, where you sometimes have to come to the table & make a difficult shot first, the lack of jumping is a disadvantage to him. Baraks not gambling is always an advantage to him @any tournament. He is ready to go when he hits the table.

I'd love to see Buddy or Matlock take it down. However, it would be really neat if someone nobody's even heard of takes it down. Like the unknown pool master or something. Wouldn't that be neat? I know SVB isn't going out right away. Wow, what a strong field!!!

i just left olathe, and cory and orcullo were playing one hole i believe for 200/game, cory broke made a ball then had a combo bank shot, then ran out. orcullo didnt make it to the table
in the tourny cory gabe both won, didnt really watch to many others play.

I checked out the short video intro yesterday and thought it was AWESOME. I was actually wishing it would last longer and that might be a first as I dislike most intros.

I really liked the music with the intro video, that was cool...
First I heard about no jump cues, oh, oh, that ups the Filapinos some.
What will it mean for the player that wins the ring game though???
It won't necessarily mean he is the best player, one of the best, sure, but
maybe not the best. I am sure many people will be doing mental rearrangements of rankings in their heads after this, but should you really?
I mean, the draws you get, on table starting out, and order draws can affect how you do, let alone the leaves you get.
You could do this same ring game tournament 10 times, and maybe only have 1 or 2 repeat winners.

I looked at the list of players. Not really a good draw there. I would hate to be in a position where it was pick a winner or die.
