Oh, I can't wait for the massive understatement about some asshat in a clown make up! It will be embiggin!
I think it's hilarious he got nuked from a thread he started.
Some random thing made him think of OMGWTF, like maybe his waitress
was named melinda, and he his fingers just immediately lunged for the nearest
keyboard to make a random attack on her.
If he coulda just bit back the urge he would probably still be here...
8+ years on AZ, I guess it was his time.

What an oddball. Instead of just not logging on anymore (self-ban), he's got to make a big scene, and *have* someone ban him. Something like, "I just can't control myself; anytime I get near a keyboard I find myself at the AZB forums, so please put yellow police tape around the AZB site so my mindless auto-piloted fingers don't come here anymore."
Like Bruce (justadub) said -- probably so that he now has the "persecution" excuse.

never knew omgwtf until THE 'Classic Thread' with her and cubc, and what a thread it was as so many of you i am sure remember
from then on i truly admired her...
was glad she was an azb'er with so much spunk and fortitude
never afraid, took the hard road to compete, win or lose
never boasted nor cried
and i noticed she never even addressed this thread and 9ball
to me - she is a class act

imho - she is a very interesting and sweet azb'er. and great sport! she did not deserve an attack
with that said, of course you can determine the 'ban' duration...
maybe best if it is not 'suicide' and final, but just a 'coma' that can pass...
after all, we all [including me as you know] can get out of hand sometimes and in the end, we are all friends

..just wanted to chime in with all of you about the mysterious random attack on OMFWTF.....I too, have long enjoyed her witty and humorous, if sarcastic prose. Hers is one of the few blog sites I visit regularly. I still don't understand the motivation for the thread, which sure seems uncalled for.
To me, it seems like his request for banishment is much like a compulsive gambler telling a casino not to let him on the premises.

I have always said OMGWTF should bring some of her blogs on Ustream or the like. She is very good on the mic and I believe she would have many followers. If all goes well make a demo, send to TV, get own gossip/reality show, become a star, make millions, live happily ever after. If you can dream it, it can happen. Johnnyt
I think 9bp's weed strain was too strong this time.
OMGWTF is great. Her articles are funny. She takes pool very serious. I enjoy her insight.

You know:
First the guy states for all that he will never post about OMGWTF again
Then sometime later, he decides to flame her over her blog, which, although he critiques incessantly, he obviously reads attentively
Then when this inconsistency is pointed out and he is critiqued over his critiques
He goes a little crazy, F-Bombing people with red rep and commits suicide by mod.
Not that I have any experience with the weed you understand, but to me it sounds more like demon rum or a little bit of the crack.

I'd like to see him match up against OMGWTF and have her horse**** him. He deserves it, and she'd probably take great pleasure in doing so.
I’ve read several of the OMGWTF and liked them. Humour and written in a style that conveys the story being told. I initially found the one on MD a little mean spirited for my taste but after reading it again I realized that, for all of you wanting to stand in line for the attention of Ms. Melinda, you are probably standing behind Mike in her romantic choices flow chart.
I watched the recent Hard Times 10 ball and I am pleased that others posting here also recognized that this young lady has some talent behind the microphone, good broadcast voice and providing interesting comment while deferring to her more knowledgeable co-commentator when appropriate.
She did have one weak spot in her commentary and that was her shameless and continuous fishing for compliments by referring to herself as a “C” player in a voice that was clearly pleading for someone to jump in and say that she was better than that. However, everyone seemed to take her at her word that she is indeed that level. I almost jumped in on the Chat to say that she seemed much better than a “C” (I don’t know her skill level) just so she would drop it but I was afraid it would give her a BIG HEAD.
