On deck to get a new SW.

I got a email from Laurie this morning, the time is near. I have thought about this moment for just over 10 years. Now that the time has come, I don't know how I want it. I was thinking wrap less, but that is an extra $275.
My question is, if your were on deck; what style would you ask for, wood combos, points or not, 1,2 or 3 veneer laminates, etc.. rings at A<B<C<D or just A<B... I am just so excited that I am having a problem making up my mind. :D

Get all of the rings and veneers. Makes it more desirable if you ever or need to sell.

Get what you like and not what someone else may like. It is your cue.

Start by doing a search on this forum for SW cues and look at the different combos. Then ask Laurie what she would recommend. She has been making them for years and knows what the favorites are and what is a good combo. She is also good at making nice combos.

I think something with orange and white.....kind of like Tennessee colors....

Get a wrapless 9-pointer, that would be the nutz! Congrats on living long enough to get to the top of the list.

Go wrapless!!

I would go wrapless, but that is my favorite.
I would also get all the rings, the matching JP's, and choose colors that you like.
Why not ebony/ebony with 3 veneers in your Gator colors - blue/orange/white?

You waited this long and still do not know what you want?:grin-square:

Congrats, and good luck on your choices!!!

Tell me about it,between the one I have now and the one I will be receiving soon I will have waited 19 yrs for two cues! Almost half my life!:yikes:

It's your turn...

I'd say get it exactly the way you want it.
Take a little time to figure out which woods YOU want to look at in your cue and go with it.
I, too, waited 9+ years for one.
Congrats!
