On The Road Again with Perfect Aim....

I do think Gene’s On The Road thread is pretty cool even though it is an ad for selling perfect Aim, aiming systems belong in aiming system forum, it is a blog on the main forum, and the truth is being stretched a bit from time to time.

A lot of young players read this forum and have dreamed about going on the road and Gene makes it look easy for a non-pro. What I want to hear from him is that he could never make it for 2 months W/O selling his $200 a pop perfect aim and having a stake horse when he plays for anything remotely large.

The truth is money cannot be made on the road anymore. Everything is priced many times what it was 25 tears ago. Gas, food, motels, table time, and maintaining your transportation will make it impossible to survive out there. Johnnyt

Johnny, how many times does it have to be said that Gene's system is only CALLED perfect aim, and is NOT an aiming system? I don't understand how some of you can read so many posts of his and about him and not understand that his system is about getting your eyes in the right spot to see the shot line correctly. Not how to actually aim. His thread is in the section of the forums that it belongs in.

Sorry Scott,

3 weeks after the accident I was still under Doctors orders to not drive. I couldn't see straight. I still have trouble typing today. need to correct a lot of mistakes.

I'm in a tournament in Rahliegh, North Carolina. I couldn't write my name last night but I'm still trying to play pool. I won my first 2 matches but havn't played anyone real tough yet.

Couldn't hardly play last night. Couldn't hardly open and close my hand. When i did it was real slow like it was tired.

I need to go to the doc but I have no insurance so ice is my best friend.

For the most part out here I'm not trying to take players money by beating them out of it. I'm trying to help them play better.

I play most people that I can for $100 or $200 because i love to play and they need to play awful good to get my cash.

I usually don't get any easy action.

I'm trying to eat right now and I can't get the spoon to my mouth with my right hand. I'm going to ice it for about 1/2 hour before i go back to the room.

When I played Chris I put up $500. Hadn't played for about 3 weeks hardly. Looked at the table after I posted and said to myself, you got to be kidding. There was no way for me to get ready in about 6 days.

I tried to practice for about 6 hours the first day and fried my shoulder and arm the way it is right now. I didn't back down but still played.

I shouldn't have even played but the stream was set up so I did.

I had no chance to beat anyone those 2 days. that is the reality of the whole thing.

Chris played great and he is a great player. I was impressed with his play on the 4" pocket table. Not many players could do the things he did on it.

I was equally impressed with his play against Bergman in Indy playing 10 ball on their 9 footer. A little bigger pockets but still small.

I just can't wait until this thing, whatever it is heals up. I might have to quit playing for a few week or a month.

It's been bad for about a year now. it gets a little better but then gets real bad again sometimes.

It's finally coming to a head because the whole arm, wrist , hand and shoulder are bad.

I just want to be able to play pool again and I really was by no means ready to play Bartram at that time. No excuse. But reality.

If there was no pay per view to break even i would have cancelled it in a heart beat. It was pool suicide.

Anyway, it's just the way it was and is.

All I want to do really is help player play everywhere and keep enough money in my pocket to keep doing so. This is the most unselfish thing I have ever done in my life.

To think I'm getting rich from this and doing it for advertising is really rediculous but I do want players everywhere to know how well it works so they can play better.

Who's going to tell them if I don't or the players that learn this tell them.

Got to get the ice on.

Need to go see if I can beat Johnny Archer.

I might even beat him.

Oh Darn. There I did it again. I hope Johnny doesn't get mad and call me out to play for $10,000.

I might have to turn him down.

But then if I get staked like all these players that talk about playing for high stakes do I might do it.

But I treat a backers money like it is my own.

My buddy Hank called me to play someone about 2 weeks ago before the Bartram/Bergman match and I told him the truth. My shoulder is too bad.

He said i appreciate your honesty. He knows I will not go in the box with anyone fior the cash if I'm not right even with his money.

Most players would look at it as a free roll not even being ready.

Hank doesn't look at it as an excuse but being honest and not being careless with his money.

I've known Hank for 30 years and I have never lost him a single dime.

Now that's a good player/ backer relationship and we have played some pretty good players over the years.

Only way archer will call you out to play for 10 k
Is if you go around saying you will play him for 10 k

Gene for 60 or how ever old you are you do play good pool
Just to many excuses when you lose or play bad

You will have more fun that way

1 man and no aiming system

I'll offer to play Gene for $250 too, on two conditions:
1) I get that Perfect Aim tune up.
2) You all worship and praise me for ponying up chump change to play a guy I probably can't beat.

I think you have a chance of getting that number 1 but the number 2 looks like a long shot. :D

all right.... i will jump on the bandwagon to play chris, if he is ever in my neck of the woods.

just one condition though.

after he kicks my ass he gives me a 1 hour lesson on his no aiming method.

That makes sense to me.

Hell, I'll play Chris for $250...but I'm gonna need a backer

Good move if you can gitter done.

Starting January 1, the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) goes into effect. People who were previously unable to obtain health insurance due to pre-existing conditions will now be able to purchase health insurance. People who have low income can even get a subsidy to purchase insurance.

Just curious to know if you are you planning on purchasing health insurance under Obamacare?

The exchanges actually opened up Oct 1

Word is...

Gene finished 5th at the shark infested Brass Tap tourney. I'd have been there, wish I was there, but couldn't due to work. My thanks to Wayne, aka fat Albert, pool enthusiast and networking extraordianire. Whom I live vicariously through when I have to pull more than 20 hours a week. ;)

Gene beat a strong BJ Ussery to go deep, not sure who he lost to, but it was one of these 4 remaining: Mike Fuller, Stevie Moore, Shannon Fitch and Moneymaker -they're battling it out as we speak. Hats off to Gene, respect.

In other news... Johnny is playing Keith Bennett as I type. As of a few minutes ago, it was Johnny up 13-10. Race to 25. More than a few thou each on the light. Keith getting the 8 out in 10 ball.

Adding, Keith is rolling, now @ 15 -14 Keith. Johnny had him @ 10 -5. @ 40 - 80 spectators, adjacent tables blocked off.

Gene left a bit ago, is expected to return. Rhea is playing a gal named Asia. Wayne says Rhea plays pretty good.

Stay tuned if you care to the place on the east coast at the moment that has it going on.

The competition is stiff.

I was playing Steve Moore for 5th and 6th. I was ahead 7-6 and shot a tough combo to make the 9 ball. the cue ball went way up the the other end to scratch. Couldn't belive it made it that far.

Needed to print up some flyers. Allot of players asking about Perfect Aim and I plan on giving them a heaping helping.

I'm going to be here for about 5 more days until the US Open.

It looks like the ice is going to do it. My hand hurts really bad but at least I can play. I wish I would have known i had to ice my whole hand, arm and shoulder.

This is good info for the US Open. I will have plenty of time to ice between matches. It takes the inflamation down and I keep my strength. Still need to find out what's going on there though. this has been going on for about 6 months ever since I got rear ended in Peoria, Ill.

The Brass Tap will be home base until the US Open. I will be working with the leagues there and also giving some personal lessons.

Action all over the place.

Pool players paradise right now.

For a personal lesson call 715-563-8712.......up until Thursday.

Majic, Gene was ranked a 10, Johnny was ranked a 40, I was ranked a 1.5. ;)

Seriously though, this tourney was not handicapped per Wayne S, who is there and just responded to your question via text.

Congrats on a really good performance Gene. I don't know all the players you went through, but NC ain't no walk in the park. Raleigh is on the NC "50 yard line" of killers and a great tourney like Brass Tap puts on, brings a lot of wolves outta the woodwork.

As an aside you old, hurting SOB, ;) if you don't know this, trust me from personal experience - this is golden info. Google "Ice massage". The difference between putting ice on your pain spot vs ice massaging the pain spot ALONG with the long areas above and below all the connecting tissue - it's a massive difference in results.

Massage the ice well up and below the pain. Rub it like it's ... The movement does some serious shit. It can stop tendonitis in 3 days, and other ailments so much faster. Try it, if you hadn't. Better than 3 sticks of cortisone, 5 bottles of Aleve, Soma, hydro, BJ's and the likes.

Thanks........

Well done Geno! Beating BJ is no small task.. I played at the Tap many, many times and it is a great crowd. Not surprised to see Mike Fuller in deep at all. Wayne is good peeps as well..

BJ plays super strong.

Just heard Mike Fuller beat Stevie in a tight one. Not sure if he'll face Moneymaker (what a great name) or Fitch.

Keith got the better of JA tonight. Hats off to Keith.

Asia...hmmm...her last name wouldn't be Cycak, would it?

There was a girl named Asia that played OMGWTF and she ran out when OMG went to the bathroom. Think she aired her for over a grand.
Damn my avatar is cute.
