On The Road Again with Perfect Aim....

Sorry it took so long. Found out what the problem was.

It was already sent when you told me to forget it.

Just enjoy the video on me.

Thanks again geno....

Gene,

Are you still in Des Moines? I just saw where you said were here. I was hoping to get together for a while if you have some time.

I haven't been in the hall for a while. I've been filling in for league players so I've been in bars for 3 nights a week lately. That's about 2 nights too many for me.

Sunday night at Dogs. If my wife frees me, I'll be there.:thumbup:

Thank You Everyone and Happy New Year.......

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone that has supported me in the journey across the USA.

I plan on continuing this journey and teaching Perfect Aim for as long as I can. And as many of you have seen I've added a sidekick to the journey by the name of Zach  Marquardt. Champion in the making.:yeah: I'm hoping.

We plan on making our way down to the Derby. And who knows from there:indecisive:. Part of being on the road.

Hope to see everyone there.

Thanks everyone for making this such a great year for me with my travels.

Hope 2012 was a great year for you all and looking forward to 2013 being even better.

So it's on the road again with my Perfect aim.

Glad your doing good with your health.

It would be fun to get out there again but it probably won't happen soon.

Good luck gene

Great day in Indy...........

Is it cold in Indy. I don't think I went far enough south.

Had a good day today. Gave a lesson to Scott from Chicago and Mark Craney from Indy.

Had a great time with the both of them.

Had a lesson tonight but I rescheduled it for tomorrow.

Ran into Bedbugs at the Radison. Unreal. What luck.

They gave me the room free for 2 days and are washing my clothes right now but I itch all over. I'll bet I have about 25 bites on me.

Tomorrow I will be bed bug free. Boy do they itch.

It might take a few days to get to Cincy. Got about 4 more lessons to get in here before I go.

Never a dull moment..

Had a great time as well, Gene. Great info... all of it. Well worth the drive down. The drive back, maybe another story. ;-)

I'm very glad you mentioned this thread as I hadn't seen it yet. I'll be following your journey and hope for the chance to meet up with you again in the future.

Give me a call next time you're near Chicago!

Scott

P.S. Here's hoping for a bed bug free room tonight!

They gave me an extra night free.......

I am still at the Radison. They gave me the initial 2 days free and one more night free. And A roll of quarters to wash all my stuff.

Those bites sure still itch though. Big Truck told me to use tea tree oil. It didn't help much. I think it made them worse.

Oh well. they'll quit itching in a few days.

Had a great time with the lesson. You're capable of playing at a higher level. this was all that was holding you back. Only wish I was there to see how fast things get improve.

At least you got the hour of time back in Chicago;)

Thanks again gene...........

Gene, thanks for the lesson. It was well worth the investment in time & money, I gained one really big learned skill and numerous smaller ones. It was also a lot of fun, Gene, you're very much the gentleman and represent the game of pool quite well. I hope to see you again in the future, have safe and prosperous travels.

The pleasure was all mine Mark.......

Back in July of 2009 I showed Perfect Aim to Rodney Morris. He told me that certain shots just didn't look right and that Perfect aim immediately gave him the answer he needed.

He signed the notebook that I keep all the names and quoted the phrase.

SAW THE LIGHT 7/6/09 Signed Rodney The Rocket Morris

During our lesson I thought back to Rodney because you really did SEE THE LIGHT also.

When a player such as yourself is working so hard to play this game and I can add a valuable piece to make things better it's the ultimate highlight of the day for any teacher.

Looks like I'm going to be here for awhile. Too many lessons to do. Too many calls.

If you need a tuneup before I go just give me a call and see if I'm still here. No charge for tuneups.

Like i said at the end of the lesson.

Sometimes I feel like I should pay the player for letting me give the lesson.

Good Luck Mr Mark. Thanks again......

Setback of being on the road...........

I thought the lungs were getting better but I had kind of a backlash.

Going to get a room for a week here in Indy and just take it easy. I'll do some lessons but only one a day.

The good news is there was some locals that I would have missed if I would have left today.

Just don't have the energy. This has been going on since I was in Houston 3 or 4 months ago..

Seemed to get better around Christmas but came right back.

No more smoking poolrooms or tournys for me. Can't wait until the whole USA gets it right.

When you can't breath it"s kind of scary.

Hey Andy,

I think Gene will have a new Perfect Aim DVD coming out soon (I know he filmed it with Big Truck last year and it should be out after all the editing is ready), so if things are not 100% clear with this older DVD be sure to check the new one as well when it's ready.

Bonus Ball? Is it going to be televised?

So what's the "real deal" with Bonus Ball? Is it going to be televised?

Small action tonight at Brickyard........

I got down to the poolhall about 3:00. Not too much going on as far as action but I didn't really look things over real good.

I met Doc Don. Pretty serious pool player and a real nice guy.

We talked for a few minute and I was telling him how I'm staying here for a week to try and get my lungs right. I've had this going on for about 3 months now.

He immediately offered his help and said he would trade his medical expertise for a Perfect aim lesson.

I was talking about the retinal field of vision and he knew exactly what I was talking about. Is he in for a surprise. I will get him shooting the best pool of his life in a real quick hurry. this is going to be so much fun.

Then in came Tom Karabotsas. Sorry Tom but I don't know how to spell your last name. He was looking for some action and I told him I hadn't played much for the last 3 weeks. I told him i would play some cheap sets for some good practice. He's on his way to louiville and felt he needed a tuneup.

he said he'd play some $50 sets, Race to 9 9 ball.

The first one went hill-hill and Tom was running out and hung the 8 ball in a pocket. I felt like a thief.

We played another one and i started to hit a gear a little and won 9-5.

Like most players when they lose, even though it was only $100 Tom woofed a little about how we should play some one hole.

I told him I don't play it and he knows that.

Anyway, Tom got a game with a local player and beat him out of the $100 he lost to me at $10 per game. He shot lights out.

After he got done I asked him if he was ready again. he just smiled and said No.

Tom and myself are pretty good friends. The way we played here is just some friendly jousting. A player needs this to get their game on. Many players make the mistake Of trying to play for too much and they kill all of their practice action.

I don't know if Tom will play me some more 9 ball or not when we cross paths next time. I think he will. He's a great player and a tough competitor.

I think he's going to surprise some players at the derby for sure.

There are alot of players that stop at the Brickyard on the way to the Derby. This in itself is kind of fun. just be there and see so many old friends.

I'm going to play a little more 9 ball tomorrow. Who knows,if I can get feeling better i might show up.

I'm only about 115 miles from there.

Got to get to bed. Doc said he would be there at about 12:00.

Can't wait.
