The mods and any of your so called respected members had plenty of time to keep me from going to paypal. So i don't care what you think. Maybe the forum will learn from this if it is still around.

If it is still around? Wow... all because "you" feel a raffle was run poorly. Yes, there are some that side with you that the raffle could have been run better. Lesson learned for all I am sure.
But I don't see anyone siding with you that the whole forum should be shut down because a mama's boy didn't get his way. You are threatening to jeopardize the whole forum for your silly selfish reason and I hope to see you banned.

You already made your move by going to Paypal and saying THEY are running raffles and whatnot.Banning you will make you go away and the raffles will be gone with it I am sure. The wanted/for sale section is a great section of the forum, the raffles were very good but I am sure after losing time and time again it got to you and you made a poor choice.I hope that you realize most of the respected members are pissed off with you for jeopardizing the site over $14,the auction was ran as described, you can twist it anyway you want but ultimately your done on here.At the present time I think you should be be banned for putting the site in jeopardy, the Raffle section should be deleted along with any trace of it also.I would hate to see a great site like this destroyed over something so stupid. :frown:

you D'man:smile:

I'm waiting to see what the mods do before I make a move. Banning me will not make this go away. In fact it would be quite the opposite

Oh stfu you petty *****. If $14 hurts so bad you shouldn't participate in raffles. And to preempt your inane response, I do comprehend the situation. I read all the threads. You are a world-class nit, and your douchebaggery won't be missed.

I guess what you are saying is that I need to go ahead and send in all of the pages of things I have saved to who I need to send it to. Deleting threads will do this place no good. i have too many saved.
Let alone that you continue to threaten to bring down our forum, You have called people idiots, you have called people morons. You called me personally a Jacka$$. Those are offenses that are against forum rules.
I really think it is time for you to go whine :crying: and threaten somewhere else.

I kinda wish the raffles were run by some old Italians I knew. This issue would not be an issue. Nobody would be stupid enough to go ratting it out to Paypal, a major credit card payments processor. Now for the REALLY bad news. If they decide to reverse a single dollar because it falls under the crime of "enabling gambling payments", then they could go and reverse every penny paid out to past rafflers which are well documented on this site from day one. They could strip the recipient and hold the money. Don't be surpirsed if within 6 months, a bunch of people get charged thousands of dollars in chargeback transactions. If Paypal were to get caught supporting gambling after they had been made aware their payment system was actively transferring funds for gambling payments, they could lose big time with the credit cards companies they are allowed to do funds transactions with. I wish you all the best of luck and hope that Paypal treats this like they do most transactions and ignore the lame ass that filed the complaint. Otherwise the domino effect could come into play. I know if I were working fraud with Paypal and had been given this, I would be on the horn to the Feds already to cover my company's ass. That is their job.

Wow! I guess that is why you guys call it a sweat bet.LOL Now some of you might be sweating it a little more than you originlly thought. Good luck and best wishes. I'll send you guys a file in cake......... Just kidding.. I don't know how to bake a cake.

Where are the frigging Italians when you need them????

Paypal has no obligation or responsibility, as I see it, to undertake a venture like that on their own. They would have to verify that each and every payment was for that purpose, and that it was actually illegal. Raffles are not illegal in all states, and the jurisdictional matter arises. It is really small fry for the feds to investigate, especially in a closed, members-only forum.

While an individual might apply for and receive his monies back on some sort of technicality, Paypal has no grounds to arbitrarily reverse money transfers.

BGP complained that the raffle in question was rigged. I just don't see anything to validate that complaint.

So that makes it OK to throw the raffle section and possibly AZ under the bus over $14 ???
I didn't say that. What I said is what you quoted. I'm not defending him. Personally I think he just needs to let it go. BUT I do understand where he's coming from. Only now it's been blown way out of proportion by BPG24 and everyone else also.

Trust me, the forums will still be here when you get up in the morning. And they will still be here long after this one whining user is long gone.

If we have to take raffles down, then we have to take them down. It is all on one user. Nicely done. And for $14 bucks?

Mike

Is there a simple explanation on why BPG's posts are dissapeared and not all thread? Thread look nonsense now.

^^^^^^ to answer that question^^^^^^^^

Personal attacks are against forum rules...grounds for being banned

Except that he wasn't (as yet) banned. As Rackem said, he was placed on group ignore. If you do a search, none of his over 3,700 posts can be read, while his name is still in the Member's list. A very ellegant solution in my mind.

The only problem I see is now he can no longer get the Red rep bomb that was headed his way. :duck:
Fortunately before he was place on group ignore I was able to retaliate for the red he sent me. :help:

It really didn't matter.

His arguement is that I didn't provide a link to the powerball so how could anyone know what number to look for. There is only one lottery called the powerball so this was understood by everyone but him apperently. He also says I never said the raffle was sat which he is right i didn't, but what I did do was say the raffle would go off as soon as everyone was paid. Everyone was paid fri night so we held the raffle on sat. I worked all night fri night, went to a pool tournament all day sat so I never got online again until I got home sat night and I anounced the person that had picked 41 as the winner.
Just wondering if anyone else noticed. If Pimp had waited and not used the Sat night powerball, but instead the following tuesday night drawing. We still would have had the same winner. Yep, thats right Kurly had that one also #2. How ironic.:scratchhead: Hey Kurly how about picking some #s for me.:grin-square:

You along with a few others are still missing the point. It's not about who won.

I have escalated the paypal dispute since no resolution is going to happen and mr wilson isn't returning my pm's. Hell, pimp is even lying to paypal with proof of his lies right here for them to read.

Not very smart IMO

Which is why we don't let time travelers in raffle anymore.

Seriously though his is why their argument made NO SENSE. They would not have won either way and the same guy would have still won. Oh well it looks like we don't have to worry about those two any longer.
