After the bergman/morra match the last three days and alot of online betting. I was just wondering how many of you have had bad experiences with this. Have any ever of you got stiffed?

I guess I would like to see a list of members who have completed their part of the deal after losing. And also the bad ones that stiffed people. I am sure it has happened, so I would like to know the ones to stay clear of.


So far I have just dealt with uwate and that went good, but he won:rolleyes:

ive made alot of bets and so far ive been fortunate that I hve never been stiffed. One guy took about a month of stalling to settle up but over all its been good.

If people bet with me, I like to payoff that same night its over. I dont like going to bed owing people money.
 
A guy stalled me over a $100 bet, paid $50 of it, then kept up with sob stories about pay problems, etc.. I don't even remember if he ended up paying the last amount off, but if he did, it took him 3 months.

I will no longer bet with anyone I don't implicitly trust from their online postings. I don't need the aggravation over a token $100 or $200 bet.

Let me state for the record, that I have never been "stiffed".

Even that time I spent in jail, I was never "stiffed".

Great experiences with everyone of my bets. Jay Helfert is one of the great standup guys. He hunts you down when he owes you. I usually keep the bet small when its the first time. $25 to $50. Paypal a must. There is a lot of stand up guys on the site.

Fatboy you got the inside track. You just dont know how to use it. The secret. Anybody that Jay bets on, you go against! Just kidding Jay. Your turn around will come. By the way Jay I like Alex in Vegas.
 
Dead Poked and I ...

...have made a few bets online. Lots of fun and no problems. Makes the TAR matches even more fun.

I won $20 on Jay and even jellied him up a bit!!!:)

Only one guy, Actionhound. A funny choice of name's for a complete stiff. He still owes me $300 from Derby City. I've bet with dozens of other guys, no problem. Just took a beating on the Morra match and sent out three checks today, plus Paypal to one other guy. I'm not happy about it, but that's why they call it gambling. Like Yobagua said, I don't like to owe anyone money.
 
I have lost hundreds gambling on matches here,always pay and usually by USPS Money Order as i dont use Paypal,i might have won once or twice on a small wager but i mostly book losers so if your betting against me your chances of winning are great! :D
 
I won 1 lost 1 and it went fine each time using paypal......but they were both sub$100.....thanx Grady!:D

I tried to compile a list of bad transactions before, but the thread was removed.

I will say that pooldawg1 stiffed me for $50. Then made an offer to make it right and was very courteous... then continued to stiff me.

Ive made bets with a lot of different people on here and never had any problem with any of them. I also pay the second the match is over using paypal. Here is a list and if I'm leaving anyone off I'm sorry.
