Onyx LTD Pool Cue Tip?

I did, they are really beautiful, Loved them very much.... i've been using Moori for a long long time and everytime I change to something, I find myself switching back to Moori, that didn't happen to me when I tried Onyx, I just loved it and decided to keep using it... and also installed it on my other shaft, it's that good.
If you're talking about the Tiger Onyx, yes. I use them and have had my shafts changed out to Onyx (from Everest).
They are made exactly like a Sniper, layered boar hyde, but are naturally cured for month in a process that turns them black. In my experience they are medium firm and grip really well. I like them when put on shafts with a short ferrule, because they absorb a little of the impact. The kicker for me is they get broken in fast then they don't change much at all - so unlike most tip's they don't get rock hard and lose their grip. They are expensive but will last for a long time.
I'm running a testing program with the Tiger Pro X shaft right now and they are all equipped with the Onyx. We should be hearing more from the testers pretty soon.

Chris, I like my Onyx tip that came with my x-pro and I want to change my other shafts to the Onyx. Is there someone local for me that carries these tips?

I had Mike Webb (great guy btw) put one on my 314-2 for me recently. It plays great, holds chalk well, is keeping its shape well, and plays with a middle of the road style hit. I'm still getting used to it as I notice my bank shots are playing different, almost as if I'm transferring too much english compared to the moori I used to play with, but if I remember to stay closer to the center of the cue ball I do just fine.
*edit* btw, just to be give credit where it is due, I purchased my tip from Benfica here on the forums and the transaction was flawless. I'm not trying to say anyone is better than anyone else, just supporting the positive transaction I had.

Yes, Corey is the hot new dealer in town for many brands, and he has good prices.

I have to agree with all the reviews so far. I have been playing with the Xpro shaft Tate sent me with the onyx tip, and I have to say that it is the nicest tip I have played with. I would call it a medium stiff hit. It definately holds chalk well and has a very nice feel. I can't tell if the increased spin is the tip, the shaft, or a combo. I suspect it is more the shaft, but the tip probably affects it also. I would be happy to play it on all my cues.
I'd suggest that the tip may be a good portion of the added spin you are seeing. I had a moori replaced with the onyx and I'm shooting great with it but I notice way more transferred english on my bank shots. I have to compensate for my banks more than ever if I plan on using english to position the cue ball after hitting a bank, it's like the object ball is picking up WAY more spin than when I played with my old moori tip. I am playing much closer to center cue ball with this new tip, which is fine by me, just makes me realize if I need a power spin of any sort I have it available.
It also makes me realize I have to run a ton of drills to get used to the change .. but I'm sort of lazy and just having fun with the added action for now.

I've got Onyx tips on my shafts right now, they were pressed a little bit before installation and hit great. Very nice tip and definitely worth the price.

I am really trying to figure out how soft or firm these are.
For instance I currently have a stick w/2 shatfs: one has a Kamaui Black soft and the other has a Kamaui Black Medium.
For me the medium is too hard.
The soft is in my opinion a little to soft (I prefer the soft over the medium)
I am looking fomr something in bettween, slight on the softer side.
Has anyone use these other tips to compare them to.
I know I am just looking to those who has tried it so I can get some form or measure of how they "feel."
