Our own Aka Trigger is play'n in the Open!!!!....

ouch!

Yes, I lost 9-0 against the #1 seeded player (Jasmin) and yet I feel fine for some reason, lol! I never got upset, never got nervous, never got embarrassed (even after laughs from the crowd when i scratched on a 9ball). I just wish I could have played a tad better at the end of my games I should have won, but overall it's still super cool to be IN a pro tournament and not just watching on the sidelines. Wow!

Thanks for everyone's support!

Ash plays at 10am and I play at 1145am. :)

Ouch! I hate those crack of dawn matches!!(dawn doesn't crack too early around here)

Sounds like you are both maintaining a great attitude, having fun, and ready to go again tomorrow.

Good luck both and have fun!

Stay positive and play your game.

This is so cool, you and Ash hanging in there. Keep it up, best of luck.

I need to read the main forum more!

Damn! I didn't even see this thread until 15 minutes ago!:o

Glad you could go Trig!

Have a great time, and savor the experience!

Your friends at AZ wish you and Ashley the very best!!

Good Luck!!!!!

Charlie

Yeah Trigger, I caught your last few games and You have nothing to look down on! You were shooting really good and had a couple of hiccups. You'll get your chance tomorrow. It sounds like your head is where it needs to be! :)

Ash lost 6-9 :(. She was up 6-2 against Morgan. She plays at 10am tomorrow morning. Damn, can't stay up late tonight! LOL. Casinos love me, too :)

Would that be Morgan out of The Gallery in New Paltz NY??

Keep stroking Trig!!

Both our girls have some work to do to get into the redraw.

Trigger starts with Megan Smith, then more than likely will play Sarah Rousey, followed by the loser of XTP & Kyoko Sone.

Ashley plays Cathy Metzinger, then Angel Paglia, followed by Ewa Laurance, then the loser of Vivian Villareal & Melissa Little.

Play hard & have fun. Do us proud.

Where is Crawfish?

Knives are probably over the top but maybe he could take up a little knee capping as a sideline to help our ladies to the redraw. Don't know if they need the help but a little insurance never hurt!

(edit: Not Sarah Crawfish, she is one of ours. Dang so is Angel. this starts getting complicated!)

What have we come to when we think of kneecapping AZ'ers to help AZ'ers?:grin:

We have corrections to make since the bracket at the WPBA site was incorrect.

Both our girls have some work to do to get into the redraw.

Trigger starts with Megan Smith, then more than likely will play Sarah Rousey, followed by the loser of XTP & Kyoko Sone.

Ashley plays Cathy Metzinger, then Melissa Morris, followed by Liz Ford, then the loser of Vivian Villareal & Melissa Little.

Play hard & have fun. Do us proud.

Ashley has more AZ'ers in her path than initially thought. **Kneecapping still not an option***

To found out how Ashley and I did in our morning matches, here is our vlog (video blog):

You guys and gals are SO awesome!! We so much appreciate the support from you all!

How cute are the two of you? Keep the videos coming, they are so much fun to watch.

As for Trig's "bagel - bagel" (0-0), you are not alone. I also had back to back bagels in a 9-ball tourney against a couple of hacks: Jon Kuchero & Efren somebody. I had suppressed the memory of that until you brought it back w/your report. It's back to the therapist for me...THANKS A LOT! :p:o.

(but, my buttplate was still intact! :)

Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Dave

Well, I guess the kneecapping program is on hold for now. The WPBA will probably send you both a letter of appreciation just for that! :D

Hope you both have a ton of fun and now you have more time for the occasional report to us!(a very very not to subtle hint)

Well, here's to a good time anyway

So glad you had the opportunity & hope you truly enjoyed it - so it's off to have a good time & soak it all in :)

For those that might be a little down (including the two ladies) it is VERY hard to get to the final 16 in your first tournament. It's hard to have that killer instinct that you need all though a match. This trip was for the dream, not the gold ring. It's pretty hard to name any players that made the final 16 their first time out of regionals. I'm not talking about the champions that had to qualifie on regioal tours to make the WPBA Tour. They were already champions in their home counties and a lot of them hold/held world titles already. Both ladies held it together well and showed the class acts that they are. I'm sure all on AZ are proud of you and glad they were a small part in helping it happen. Johnnyt

Agree With Johnnyt on his above statement.
