Pat goes through many, many break shots in straight pool.
He expalins both the theory and the practice in his demonstrations.

These classes are NOT just a jumble of random thoughts and war stories. They have a carefully crafted lesson plan and will progress throughout the season.

What a great idea, has anyone else ever done a live lesson stream?

Will there be a chat area for questions/clarifications?
 
Can the lessons be copied or saved [via Windows Media Player] for viewing on another device? I have no computer in the pool room (but do have a tv/dvd player).

Once you've paid for the lesson can you view it as often as you want on the pay per view archives?
 
Wow is right...a while back Pat was going to do a 14.1 dvd. I think it was around 2007. I asked him about it at the U.S Open which he said was scraped at the time...this is great for anyone wanting a wealth of knowledge. Can't wait..time to fill my paypal acct.

The format should be the same as recent ppv's. A choice of your's to use silverlight or wmp and the chatroom for Q + A !

Copying this show is not a good idea, but it may be on dvd later. Or something similar.

Not sure what you mean. Buy it live, see it then. Buy the archive, view it for 24hrs. That is my understanding.

So if we are not ready to view it because we do not yet have the time, we should not order until we are able to view it within 24 hours, is that right? And it will be available on the archive. In other words, if I go there a week later, it will still be there??

I definitely want to see it,but I have league Thursday night and I may not find the time to watch it Friday and then we have a tournament Saturday.....

This is a great idea.. Some suggestions....

This is a fantastic idea that will revolutionize pool training. I have a number of thoughts / suggestions which I would like to share:
1) Establish a "course" that will consist of a series of lessons. You can give "homework" in the form of drills. Then have a corresponding message board for "students" to ask questions / share their experiences. Then, the first 10 minutes of the next lesson could provide clarification / feedback based on the posts

2) each lesson should be available in the ppv archive for a week or so & should be viewable for free for that week for people who subscribed. That will insure we don't miss a lesson

3) you should sell the completed courses in your accustats catalog as a DVD

4) you should consider converting each of your lessons to mp4 video format and enabling purchase through iTunes or other channels to allow for easy download to mobile platform such as iPhone or iPad (I have my iPhone at my practice table all the time and refer to lesson videos at the table during practice).

I hope my suggestions help to make this even more successful - this is a revolutionary idea Pat!!

It's almost that time..Nov.11th. Now I plan on staying up past my bed time to watch this ( 11:00 p.m. ) . Waiting for Pat to post the link on the Accu-Stat site.. come on Pat ..I'm can't stand this much excitement.
 
This is a good thing for pool players that want to learn from one of the best and a great use of the internet. For five bucks a pop, how can you go wrong. I would like to know what each lesson will cover before the purchase though. Good luck with this and I will be there for the first lesson to show support to Pat and Accu-Stats for the years of good things for pool they have done. Johnnyt
 
The link for the live ppv is now below in my signature !

If you cannot watch it Live it will be archived for the Accu-Stats Theater

Once the first lesson is over and save to archives the ppv theater will provide viewing for 24 hr periods at a very small price.

In any of my posts you can find the important links to Accustats in my signature line. Thats for your conveinience.
