Recently I had to return an item to Taiwan.
I was forced to do a Pay Pal dispute due to the seller not wanting the item returned. I won the dispute and followed Pay Pals instructions and returned the item to the address that the seller provided to PP.
The item was shipped from Canada but I guess that USPS handled the international part of it.
Yesterday, I received and email from USPS stating that the address that was on the package was erroneous. They are in possession of the item.
Today, I received an email from Pay Pal saying that I had given them an invalid Tracking number and the case was considered closed.
The transaction was for $245 USD.
I had faxed PP a copy of the postal receipt so the tracking number is legit.
My question is, by the term erroneous address, does that mean that a phony address was used to insure that the item was undeliverable to get out of having to return payment.
And yes, the person lives in Taiwan and is an AZ member.
When I PMed the seller and asked for a refund, he accused me of having buyers remorse and that was the only reason he felt that I was returning the item. He stated that he does not do returns on international items.
Pretty cheesy.
Now I am out the money and the defective item. Other than the money, it cost me $32 Canadian to return the item.
Thanks for the help.
