Perfect Aim Video and Lesson Phoenix

A good bis. man ....

Hi there,
The car dealer would have come out like a car dealer (bandit) because he had the signed title for my van worth about 7,000. It's going to be alot of videos to upgrade but we already have it in the works to do this for just the shipping and handleing. No charge for the video. We will set it up on the web site. The new video will have 2 or 3 new things on there that are pretty slick. These things have never before been used by anyone. At least to my knowledge. This was going to be a surprise to all the people that already bought videos but it will still be because alot of them won't see this.
But the main thing is the original video gets the message accross loud and clear. It would have been a shame to wait another 2 months. It sure has changed alot of pool ratings in the last 2 months.
Have a great day The new one should be out in about a month.
Geno.......................

And I thought I was the only one left... Never was my intent to say the info from the first dvd wasnt clear. But if you are going to make a "cleaner" dvd so soon offering a upgrade is the right move....I'd give you some rep for that but you already got my cash so I'm calling it good...:D:D:D

Sorry if I ruined your supprise, but you could have just sent me a PM I wouldnt have said anything...If you waived my shipping of course :D:D:p

Well my video just arrived today and I just finished watching it. I've been learning this game for 15 years. I've never seen this information anywhere. I've very eager to try it on the table.

Hi there iusedtoberich,
I like your name. I know you already ordered the video. I have something that I want to share with you or anyone that reads this. JIM FROM Jersey sent me a PM about maybe getting a personal lesson. Unfortuanately I'm not going there in the near future but I did get a little carried away with my reply to Jim and just wanted to share this.
Here goes.....................

Hi there Jay,
I sure wish I was there or going there soon because I would love to give you a personal lesson. Unfortuanately I'm not, at least not right now in the immediate future.
I have so much fun showing this or should I say showing this off.
It sounds like you are in the tattoo business. Let me see? tattoosbyjay. Yep! I'll bet when someone sees the great work that you do, that helps you to get more business. That way if they get a tattoo they know if you do it they won't have a mess on their body. And they would be proud to show someone your work because now it is their work because it is on their body. It is now part of them. So now you have a walking ,talking billboard.
It is no mistake that the real good tattoo places are so busy. And the real good places can charge a little more for the good work because they know you certainly wouldn't want to save $50.00 and have a mess on my body.
In you business these are very true phrase:

Bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

OR

There never was an article made , that couldn't be made worse for less money.

Jay, I'm in a story type of mood. I just had a dream and I want to share it with you and anyone that might read this thread.
Once upon a time there was this guy named Jay. He had a tattoo shop. He lived about 30 miles from work and at this place in time everyone had square wheels on their cars. This was just the way it was. You could only go about 5 miles per hour if that. It took Jay about 6 hours to get to work because all kinds of bad things would happen to the car if he tried to go to fast. Bumpers would fall off, wheels would fall off,oil leaks would happen, anyway you get the picture. But not only these things but the 6 hours to get to work was a long time but nobody knew any difference because everyone had these square wheels. It was just the way it was. Noone had ever seen a round wheel yet.
Then one day this guy named Geno came to town and said to everyone, Hey I got a great idea. I got some of these round wheels I would like you to try out. I know once you try then you will never go back to the square one. I guarantee it.
People were talking about how rediculous that was. Can you imagine. Round wheels. He's just trying to rip us all off. My square wheels work just fine.
Some of the smarter people in the town would say, I'm going to wait until I see how these round wheels work for eveyone else before I'm going to be seen with those stupid things on my car. You got to be kidding, round wheels.
In the meantime Jay starts thinking, what if this guy is actually right. What if I could drive 50 miles per hour instead of 5 ? What if I didn't have to get the car repaired every month because of all the shaking, what if, what if, what if ?????
Well, Jim bought himself some of those round wheels. He went the back way to work because he didn't want all his smart friends to see that he was foolish enough to put these round wheels on his car.
On his first trip to work he realised it only took him 30 minutes to get to work. So he started having people come in to get their tattoos earlier so he could do more and make more money. This was great. Plus he would get home earlier so he could sit in his favorite chair and be there in time to watch his favorite tv show. The wife was happy because Jim was home alot earlier too. He even got lucky more often.
Soon Jim was showing of his round wheels to everyone. But there were still alot of people that were still saying. Do you believe that? Round wheel. How rediculous. Poor Jim just got ripped off. How could Jim be so foolish. I thought I knew Jim better than that. Oh well, his money. You know what they say about a fool and his money.
This is exactly what has happened with PERFECT Aim. The people that are using it are feeling Just LIKE JIM. He's having the time of his life with the round wheels. It's almost like putting round wheels on your cue stick when they used to be square.
Pretty much the only advertising that has been done so far with Perfect Aim has been AZ and word of mouth and my mouth. Kind of like Jim in the story. I'm trying to tell as many players as possible but I'm only one person. This is why I started the web site www.perfectaimbilliards.com so players can read and see what other people are talking about. Kind of like Jim's friends in the story.
AZ is probably the best pool site in the world. It's helped catipult PERFECT AIM as being one of the top selling pool videos of all time.
And you will have to take my word for that the same as you would have to take my word that Perfect Aim does really work.
But wait. Just like in the story, now you don't have to just take my word for it because so many people are using it and are just loving it and they are telling everyone they can, especially their friends. And you can just read about the great result on AZ and the Perfect Aim site.
And then there are those who don't want to tell anyone because they know it will make the competition a lot tougher. Good luck with trying to borrow their Perfect Aim video.
But then there are those people that are still saying how can this be.
In the story the people were laughing at Jim for buying the round wheels. Soon they we'rent laughing anymore because they were buying the round wheels themselves. . They had wasted alot of time by being so slow to act.
The people that have learned Perfect Aim I know are kind of laughing when they read someone trying to say that perfect aim might not work.
Why would you want to waste your time trying to do something that you love to do one way or the other way you always have when there is this new thing called Perfect Aim that can make it easier to do what we all love to do and that is to kick somebody's ass. It's easy, simple and it works ! ! !

Bottom Line.

Have a great pool day. Geno.......

Here is proof I'm the 8th best player on AZ. Only way to claim one is better or worse on this forum is to post their scores. Nothing else counts:)

8th best player on AZ in 2009. That's quite an accomplishment. I just want to beat the GingerBread Man even-up, like men, at one pocket. :D

You have made a lot of posts on AZ and so I think people can take what you have said to heart.

Your endorsement is sure to bring Gene to the next sales level.

I think he deserves the success.

JoeyA

no offence cowboy but this thread would have died out a long time ago except geno keeps it going. who can blame him? if it wasnt for az and this thread in particular how many $80 instructional dvds do you think he would have sold. geno should consider paying some sort of advertising fee to az...

brian

Well I practiced this technique for 2 hours last night. Gene sounds like he's the best kool-aid salesman of all time. Well, I might sound like I just drank 10 gallons of it. But believe me, this is the real deal. Once this material becomes known by many, it will be in every single instructional tape, book, lesson, you name it. Those of us on this forum are pool fanatics. We've seen it all come and go. And we've seen some excellent instruction over the years, training products, drills, everything. Those are all necessary things to know, but no bull, this gives everything else the 1 out and the break. This will become the universal teaching method. All the instructors will adopt this. Gene, there is no way to stop that, and I know you don't want to stop that from the tone of your posts. I hope everyone who ends up teaching this gives you the credit.

I'm not new to the game. I'm not a great player, but I've put in my 5 years of doing nothing but pool day and night 10 years ago. Just like most others on here have, and every pro has. I've been around 10 A and above level players in my local room at that time. I've been a sucker, I've been a backer, I've been a loser, I've been a winner. I've gambled for shoelaces, for bj's, and I've gambled for $5000 head sets. I've done it all. And I've resided my self that since I've done it all, and I've never become an A player, I never would.

That said, this method changes everything.

Gene's video is basically a technique for straight in shots, left cuts, and right cuts. In other words every shot on the table.

I first tried straight in shots. Object ball middle of table, cue ball end of table, shooting corner to corner. The stander straight in shot drill. Now, I didn't make it every time when I figured out the system. But I made it WAY more than I normally do. And, my cue ball STOPPED ON A DIME. Absolutely no movement. I've never hit it that pure before. I had to stop and say to myself "You've got to be fuc kin kidding me". And then I smiled to myself, just like Gene said his students were.

Then I tried spot shots to the right. Again, I couldn't believe how pure I was hitting it. During this shot, I noticed something else. My cue STICK felt like it was on RAILS. Im not kidding. In my periphery vision I could see it moving and it was absolutely on rails. No side to side wobble. No nothing. I swear I've never experienced this before. This happened every other shot after this the whole night. It really felt like I couldn't miss and my stick was absolutely straight.

Then I tried the spot shot to the left. Cutting to the left side is by far my weakest side. Now I knew how to see the shot. And it definelty looked way different than before, even a bit strange. But I was LOCKED IN. I couldn't believe how clear the picture was. I fired in spot shot after spot shot. Even my cue ball was so pure, it kept coming to the same place.

Then I tried my weakest shot of all time. A cut to the left with the cue ball a few inches from the rail, so I have to use a rail bridge. I could never understand why I sucked at this shot. From the right side I could make this particular shot maybe 8 out of 10. From the left side maybe 3 out of 10. Now I made this shot so freaking easy. It just looked like I couldn't miss. A few of the times I shot it I had the perfect "picture" and it was clear I was going to miss it. I shot it anyway, AND IT MISSED FULL TO THE EXACT SPOT IVE BEEN MISSING IT FOR YEARS. I just discovered why I kept missing that shot. Cause when I had the perfect vision, It was so obvious that I was cutting it way to thick. But before with the not perfect picture, I had no clue I wasn't cutting it the right amount, till after I missed it by a diamond.

Then I tried jacked up draw shots. Across the short side of the table. Object ball in the middle, cue ball 1/2 inch from the rail, and have to both pocket the ball and draw back to starting rail. Let me tell you I play a lot of one hole, and jacked up comes up more in that game than any other. I was partners with a guy once in a decent sized game. He told me to NEVER shoot jacked up draw for position, and just to lag the ball in to end the run. This was the correct advice for me, cause he KNEW I botched that shot all the time and would sell out the game. So I tried it now and made 7 in a row. Unbelievable. Drawing back to the rail every time.

Then I tried razor thin cuts down the rail (not frozen of course). I could see the shot so well. I made about 1/4 of my attempts, where before I would have made 1/15. That shot just needs some fine tuning, but I'll get it.

All the shots I tried were center ball. Of course I will have to fine tune all my spin shots now. But that is just a week of work.

I dont' know Gene except from this thread. But I can clearly see why he sounds the way he does about his product. This is the real deal.

A few posts in this thread mention using both eyes to aim a shot. A few AZers in early posts mentioned having amblyopia (lazy eye), but from what I recall (and I may be wrong) they found some way to use their weaker eye. That's just not going to happen for me.

So here's my question: what if you use just one eye? Is Gene's instruction still helpful?

Are there any shooters out there who...
1. use only one eye?
2. have purchased Gene's DVD?

Someone in an earlier post provided links for Joe Tucker's "3rd Eye Stroke Trainer" videos. Thanks for that, by the way.

At 1:45 in part 2 of these videos, Joe makes an interesting comment:
Now, a lot of players with the blind eye and the lazy eye are extremely dominant-eyed. They don't have this problem. That's why some players with one blind eye are some of the best shotmakers we've ever seen. One eye, one message, and it's usually correct. Okay? So this [alignment technique] is geared towards players that are using two eyes to aim all their shots.

I too would like to hear responses on the above as my left eye is very weak (caused by rubella at birth).

Honestly you have a good point about Geno keeping it going. Honestly I think there are a lot of great DVD's VHS's, and other Instructional Material out they way less than Geno's $80.00 Sticker.

One of my favorite DVD's I tell people to buy is this baby, by Jerry Briesath, IMHO it is a BEST BUY plus if you master everything Jerry Briesath teaches you will be better at Pool than 95% of you opponents.

Now Cocobolo, I have given you the benefit of the doubt in many posts and threads. I haven't piled on or hurled insults in your direction regardless of the content of your posts. I have even encouraged other posters to cut you some slack.

Recently, you got a couple of clues about Perfect Aim from reading some of Geno's posts and were happy as a bear eating honey.

Now you come on here and suggest that there are instructional videos out there that cheaper. EVERYONE already knows that.

Nothing wrong with giving Jerry Briesath a pat on the back because he does know his stuff. You could have made a seperate thread about that.

I just find it kind of sad that you would post in Geno's thread and kind of throw cold water on his blazing fire for no reason.

Well honestly IMHO $80.00 BUCKS is a lot of GREEN for any instructional DVD. IMHO there is more to Playing POOL GREAT than AIMING, add to that about 8 or 9 thing I can think of.

There is a H*LL of a lots of Pool Instructional, DVD's for way less. Now I have not seem Perfect Aiming, as no one I know has it. So I am not passing any judgments. Just Expressing an OPINION!

I notice also Geno is not offering a MONEY BACK WARRANTY in 15 days or anything like that.

***********************************

Yes. I typically shoot with my right eye closed. I shoot lefty, and have shifting dominance.

Yes I have purchased the DVD.

I still shoot with one eye.

If you have trouble aiming because of a specific visual trait that he describes in his video, he seems to offer a workable solution. Apparently many do have the issue that he describes, and I will note that I have not seen it presented elsewhere.

IMHO Geno is here to Sell, Sell, Sell like Billy,

billy_mays_file_photo.jpg

BUT Billy's stuff came with a money back warranty.

Hi there Joey,
You are the man. Maybe I should just send Cowboy a video so he can understand what all the hype is about.
It's not just AZ. I answer questions all day about alot of things to do with pool. My number is all over the internet. My personal cell phone. I want to see people all over play better. I really enjoy teaching the things I know. When I'm in the poolhalls I give lots of free advice.
Pool has been good to me and it has been real fun giving something back. They say if your doing something you love you never work a day of your life. Well let me tell you, this has turned into full time +++ and somedays it is alot of work but when I see all those smiles on all those faces when they see PERFECT AIM for the first time it makes everything I do worth while. I found a way to improve almost everyones pool game in a real quick hurry. The results are fast.
I can't slow down now. Full speed ahead. Thanks Geno.............

trying to help.

Hi Brian,
I look over alot of stuff on AZ. it's a pretty fascinating site. Lots of info and alot of people asking question about different things. I have a hard time not telling someone about Perfect Aim when they are right on the same site and asking for help or have a question because I do have the answer.
As far as pricey, the lesson people learn with Perfect Aim is priceless. All you have to do is listen to the players that have learned PERFECT AIM to understand this.
How much is it worth to win a tournament because you have an extra club or two in your bag. Or win a hill, hill match with someone. Or just being able to shoot alot better. I don't think you can put a price on that.
Some players pay $35.00 to put a tip on their cue. $500.00 for a decent cue. That's an average cue. Almost everyone that learns Perfect Aim has had great results with increasing their aiming ability.
Perfect Aim is not pricey but just the opposite. One shot that you can make because of it is worth the price of the video.
I think we can all think about that one shot that you might of missed within the last year that if you could change the outcome with a $70.00 investment you would. Perfect Aim has changed the way so many people are playing that it is almost rediculous. It's almost like PAYING FORWARD.
Those of you that have learned PERFECT AIM know exactly what I'm talking about. Need I say more........

Have a great pool day Geno..........................

i'm not trying to pick a fight with you geno, but come on. how can you say that perfect aim isnt pricey? it is by far the most expensive instructional dvd i have seen-even more costly that some sets. so yeah it is pricey. when i buy a new cue or have a tip put on i know exactly what i am getting before i purchase-and those prices are in line with the competition. much earlier in this long thread i asked you some simple questions about how you handled teaching eye dominance via dvd-without being there in person- before i spend and its $80, not $70 because you charge $10 S&H, which you wouldnt answer other that to move right into your pitch-buy the dvd and all will become clear. it may be an awesome product. i see from this thread that folks get some benefit out of it. will i? i cant be sure b/c you didnt answer my questions. so i am not rolling the dice. maybe i'll depend on the secondary market. i like to see guys make money off pool, but how can you really say that you love "giving back to the game" when you are charging such an inflated price for your product?
